"My children and I hugely enjoyed our meal from Seacrest. The owners not only serve everything you'd expect from a traditional fish and chip shop, they have also created their own take on some other home cooked meals, which I must say, are amazing!! I haven't stopped thinking about the lasagne bites since. Prices are very good too. It was well worth the visit and we are looking forward to returning very soon."

"Ocean Beach, a beautiful touch to our Southend visit. Stopped for a hot cocoa, which was nice, could have been slightly hotter. Sat outside for a while then went in for a meal. It was so warm and welcoming with the wall heaters and lights over the tables, lots of space for social distancing. Order a meal and a mix or starters which was all very nice, drinks tasted as they were suppose to. Great service, waiter checked in during meal and made sure we were good for drinks before the bar closed. A beautiful spot on the beach. Not sure what was going on in the ladies toilets, seemed to have a bit of a leak going on but as long as you had toes and could manage your squats, all was good. Definitely would recommend."

"Even if we ate in the evening, the fried food was very good,so not old oil. Very kind waiter and cook.We ate hamburgers, fries, nuggets and salad with grilled chicken breast, all very good.We will definitely be back. Update after some months: we came back we ate fish and chips and still same good standard of service, quality food and cleaning ."

"We booked a table for our friends and my wife and I on Saturday for Unfortunately our friends we delayed for about forty minutes, this did not faze the staff and management one bit. We enjoyed our meal and at no time were...we hurried, thank you."
