"Got in, and we were waiting around 40 minutes before the waiter came back to the table to take orders, 30 minutes for Jack and coke after asking for another one. Really, really, really slow. Doesn't seem like orders were getting put in, and doesn't seem like there's enough staff present to serve much more than the seating that's available at the bar. Maybe skip this, and go to island wing or something else if you don't plan on a 2-3 hour stay at the restaurant waiting on items. Mid-visit update! We have now given up on drinks, and started walking from our table to the bar for refills. If we hit the three hour mark here, we're about to just pay up for what was brought to the table and walk out. Down to one star now for sure, unfortunately. Post visit update. Alright. Management became involved after someone from our table went up front to make a complaint after having been waiting for as long as we were at that point. Additional staff was brought to the table, and everything was expedited at the end right as we were finishing up and about to leave. Food was good, hot and prepped well once it got to the table. I have no complaints with the drinks or the food served."

"There is never a lack of amazing characters here at the bar. it is the first bar I ever came in tallahassee when I moved here in the middle of covid and I came back again and again. this is the only place where I left my house to go after my gf and I feel very comfortable here at our appointments. the drinks are strong, sometimes they run out of white claws, which is all I drink, but my gf is always drunk with all the cocktails. the ticket is always reasonable price! we eat all foods and it's so good! Definitive the fried pickles I'm here every time! I love that everyone is different age differences and different races everyone is welcome it is beautiful y love them so much!"

"I 've been here probably four times over the years and never had a complaint; finally getting around to reviewing. To be fair, I 've only ever ordered the Southern board and mixed drinks. This past time, we went for a friend 's birthday and our group of seven all seemed pleased with their meals. I also finally ordered the cheese grits and enjoyed them immensely. If I had to pick something wrong , our waitress seemed a bit cold and exasperated but warmed up and by the end of the meal, was very pleasant. One other suggestion would be to get some draft beer that isn 't Proof. Tally has a few other (better) breweries that I 'd like to see appearing on local taps."
