"It was the only place open in Change Islands. It might be the only restaurant. No matter, the food and service was excellent. We had generous portions of pan fried salmon and the star of the plate was the owner's homemade bottled carrots. I could...have eaten just those! We were served by her Grandson and he was a delight. Well worth visiting!"

"We had a great meal here. I don't eat meat or fish, so I had to have onion rings (yes) a baked potato and coleslaw. Great for me...I don't expect a vegan in a fish restaurant. My husband enjoyed his fish meal. What really made this place special were people. They pressed us, let us change our reservation at short notice. Beautiful windows around the seat....busy and fun sounds...Chats with neighboring diners. Dive here if you enjoy friendly service and the sounds of happily busy people."

"If you like deep fried, this is the place for you. Or mussels -- pretty much the only non-fried option. My wife said the mussels were fine. My salmon was deep fried (why,?) and tasted okay -- but doesn't anyone have a grill around here?"

"We have eaten here two nights in a row. My wife enjoyed two rare opportunities to have a perfect lobster dinner. I had a fine scallop dinner the first time, then had the best seafood chowder I have had in 9 days on the island today, plus an excellent fish and chips. Seafood here is fresh, fresh, fresh. Service is good. Talk to Calvin at the lobster pool if you wish to choose your personal lobster. Not fancy, just friendly people serving great food."
