"If my boyfriend and I want great food that never disappoints we make the teck from Maple Ridge to Charlie's it's hands down our favorite place to eat and the fact that they have gluten free options is even better as I have celiac and finding places that have a clear menu for gluten free and is safe and understanding and doesn't judge me for something I can't control. Safe to say Charlie's is my happy place. Ohhh and the view isn't half bad either Go see for yourself"

"Decided to try this over Moby Dick's over the weekend, no regrets. Best tartar sauce ever, huge portions and pleasant service. Minus half point because my dining partner felt a bit unwell after the meal though. Maybe a bit too greasy for them? Personally it was really good for me. *Review migrated from another platform*"

"Anyone gone to White Rock beach and noticed all the fish chips restauraunts across the strip? I tried a few but nothing beats Moby Dick's fish and chips! Its a classic, and they are still amazing, and are under 10$!! Check them out right across the beach in White Rock (15479 Marine Drive). I could go for some right now actually..."

"We we walking on Marine Drive, saw Montgomery's Cottage Lunch, ordered Fish & chip, and it was good. It was the first Fish & Chips restaurant we stopped at. Seating is very simple and cute. We were surprised at the additional fees, ex tartar sauce $1.75 small container(not included with fish order ???) and very small bowl of coleslaw $4 (felt lucky we were not charged for ketchup). For total experience...3. Food good, total value pricy .We eat out a lot and found many more options to eat Fish & chips that have great taste and great value and better settings."

"Haven't been here for a while and we are hankering! Must go again soon. The fish (we always choose the Ling Cod) is extremely well cooked (not over-cooked) and healthy. The fries are great too. The man who served us last time was not our usual (who I think has retired now) but cooked it just as good. We used to often get an extra piece of fish but not now as, perhaps, Ling cod cost has gone up in recent years. It's thin batter and NOT burned or dangerous for your gums (like Moby Dicks is). My mouth is watering so I must end - just try it please, you won't be disappointed if you like healthy fish and not just a load of crunchy burned batter (Moby Dicks)"
