"Came here for the first time since the renovation. Looks great, comfortable seating areas, very friendly staff. The menu is traditional pub grub I would say I had ribbed eye perfectly boiled, big flavors and amazing sauce, the triple boiled chips are a must! I forgot about pictures because I couldn't wait to dig and eat!"

"Reserved table for for Friday, August to be with my daughter visiting from Alpes Maritime and hoped I'd got it right. We were travelling miles to meet her for lunch. I don't like gastropubs Many are pretentious, overpriced and you sometimes leave...feeling hungry having received nuevo cuisine whatever that is ! We were NOT disappointed. On arrival, we sat outside on the terrace as weather was ideal. What a TRULY wonderful experience. The food was simply perfect. We each had different starters and shared some of the flavours. Two had Lambshanks, I had fish chips (as I don't eat meat on Friday) along with some bottles of red wine. Service was attentive, discreet, professional. We were left alone to chat, staff noticed if we needed attention. Each of us are of the opinion that the meal was delicious and plenty. We didn't have space for dessert. We felt well cared for and well fed'. Could not have been excellent-er (there's a new word I will quite happily travel miles to enjoy that experience again and can thoroughly recommend Uncle Tom's Cabin to any visitors to the Thames Valley. You will NOT be disappointed. Excellent value too."

"The best roast in Windsor by far, actually best roast I’ve possibly had ever! I regularly come to this pub for Sunday lunch but this weekend we came here for my partners birthday family meal and they were so accommodating and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more from them! This pub is so friendly and the staff are excellent. Highly recommend!"

"What a lovely pub. Had some friends coming from various places near London, and my wife and I were traveling down the Thames on Holiday. Found this place in a location good for all, and it didn't disappoint. We wanted somewhere we could meet up, natter and gossip and on top of that have some food and drink. This was supplied by the F&C and we had the chat and giggles we wanted. Lovely staff who looked after us, excellent pub meals and reasonably priced.....what's not to like. Thank you Fox and Castle for helping our evening along with your contribution of venue."
