Overall, one of the best Sunday roasts we’ve had! Incredible meal, great atmosphere and friendly service. Would highly recommend!
Fantastic food and service! I visited recently with my friend and my large dog, and we were seated in a space that allowed him to be comfortable and dotted on by the waiting staff. The food portion was great and so delicious and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and really enjoyable will be going back there again for sure!
Overall very good indeed. Staff great: the attentive service managed to combine pleasant, friendly with professional efficiency. The venue is comfortable and airy with interesting décor, the facilities all well-appointed and sparkling clean. Good food demonstrating an attentive attitude to choice and tempting combinations. Portion control is obvious without being sparse just . The green vegetables were quite simply perfect, demonstrating high kitchen skills. Jolly good triple-cooked-chips. My main, a beef cheek Cottage Pie £3 supplement for some reason! was pleasant but really needed a gravy or sauce. We shall return.
Service was slow and inattentive after we sat at our table we waited 15 minutes before our drinks order was taken and an hour before being served any food. Several main courses on the menu were sold out and no longer available, resulting in a very limited menu. How do you run out of french fries?! We opted for the Sunday roast which was limited to chicken or beef due to supply issues. Food was passable. A disappointing experience.
