"I got a steak, cooked perfectly to medium, an egg and swapped my hips for mash potatoes. A beautiful meal, there was no greens though, not even coleslaw and at $35 I thought it was a little pricey for what I got. The chocolate shake was nice to. The waitress was friendly and was happy to make changes. It was quite busy, but we were all done in an hour. Not bad for a 2 hour stop over between flights."

"Came here a couple of weeks ago for a pub quiz with some workmates and had such a great time! The pints are actual pints (haha) and the food is pretty typical but delicious pub fare. We really enjoyed the atmosphere they had created and it was an awesome mixture of different people in the bar, some from as far as Brazil.<br/>The pub quiz was really well organised and super fun, and we even won a free round of shots for getting the mystery question right on the first try! Will definitely be back again."

"Service was great, food was pretty decent. Personally I got the chicken burger and was happy with the taste. Although I felt it was slightly overpriced at $23 for the smallish size you get. But great place awesome atmosphere on weekend days/Thursday, considering orewa is pretty dead most nights."

"Sunday evening, we had a choice of tables inside and outside. Service was friendly, but not super fast. Overall the food was ok, chicken wings and beef burger were very good. Chicken burger and calamari not so much. Above average at best."

"We had a great evening. we had nibbles of fishing, bhajis and chips divided and we had a beautiful gin tree. the personal was torn by the feet to be St.Patricks tag, and they did a fantastic task, with everything that so special done to them."

"Covid made my first experience awkward. I also was in pain so this didn't help I was ten minutes late Sunday night and felt uncomfortable when told kitchen closes early after I apologised due to stress making me late.I came for relaxing time after work I ended up getting anxious . Food was delicious I understand businesses are doing it hard.. but service enthusiasm for a first time dine in would have made all the difference"
