"Dine in with friends. The seafood spaghetti and the cod with crab are tasty. However, the service is really bad. -The waiter pour the wine out and made table and pram were wet. -We’ve checked several times with waiters about the main course status because our friends are almost finished their meals) but no any response. Just said they will check but no any update from them. -We waiting for the sides until we finished the main course. We asked 3 times with different waiters and no any response from them until the last asking. The lady said they’ve combined our sides to other friends’ portion. It’s ridiculous. No one tell us that they will combined the sides! And we waited for long time for such stupid things. -Wrong billing I’m so disappointed with the mess services. Will not go again. Response to restaurants reply: It’s shame. May be my reviews make you feeling not good. BUT all my reviews are true! Yes, we booked a table for 12 people but 4 kids and 1 baby included. Thus, we ordered 7 main courses with starters desserts for 7 adults and 1 kids meal and wine. I’m feeling sorry for 2 kids running around our table and we did stopped them once you told us. And I appreciated the lady with black clothes who helping us carried the pram upstairs. She was very kind and helpful. However, the staff who mainly serving our table was not very good. She pour the wine out on the table and the baby pram when she collecting the empty wine cup. For the wrong billing Yes, the first bill was £191 that’s lower then the actual bill. We found it wrong and reported it to restaurant even it’s lower price because that’s not what we ordered. And the 2nd bill was wrong again which was overcharged until the 3rd bill. Actually, not only the mess dish arrangement, one of the main course was not correct but we tried to make it simply and just finished it without any complaints. For the dish arrangement and no any updates response from the staff after we asked, really disappointed. What I feeling? I’m wasted my time for waiting because of the poor arrangement. I keep waiting and asking and get no response whole night. And my kid and I feeling very hungry. Because I still waiting my main course and the side. I was wait for whole dinner, my friends almost finished their meals but I’m still waiting. No any reply after asking, just said they will check until our last asking. Throughout the meal no one asked if the food was ok. Made us feel unwelcome. If anyone asked, may be the things will not become that bad."

"Stumbled across this pub with our newborn and dog after our original restaurant choice didn’t allow dogs and we couldn’t have been happier. Steak Thursdays! Two brilliantly cooked steaks and the onion rings to die for! The team at the kings head were the nicest bunch absolutely nothing was too much bother. We will most definitely be returning. Thank you for a Lovely experience and making our little ones first holiday away so nice!!"

"I stopped at Nino’s where I hadn’t been for long and used to like it. I wanted an ice cream. The girl serving had gloves on and was handling cash, notes and coins, and not changing nor washing gloves to touch and serve cones. Useless wearing gloves if touching money and cones!! When i asked her to please change them before touching a cone for me she said the managers were awkward about changing gloves even though she agreed with me. Do the managers want businesses to shut again if they cant afford disposable gloves and keep customers safe? Totally disgusting even in non pandemic times!!!! Cash harbours tons of bacteria for days!!!!"

"This was our second visit to Archway following trips to Abersoch. Since our first visit was so good we decided to call again hoping for another great chippy tea. We certainly weren't disappointed. Despite a queue for take away, we were able to eat in immediately. My hubby ordered a large fish n chips and we were warned it would be big! Wow, she wasn't wrong both our meals were fresh, suculant fish and the large was HUGE!. Batter was just right and the chips were better than the chippy in Abersoch! Can't wait to call again."

"Booked a table for 6.15 was seated straight away, stunning restaurant area. our table was close to the door, so kept our jackets on as it was cold) When the food arrived it all looked beautiful, my youngest daughter had from the children's menu which was garlic bread with cheese and ham, egg and chips, she said it was so nice but the chips were chewy, so she left them but was full and happy with the rest of her meal. My eldest daughter had chicken goujions with fries and best gravy she has ever tasted !! Also had garlic bread, she said, she might of found her new favourite place to eat. Then it came to my meal, how disappointing, I ordered a fillet steak which was meant be service with chips,tomato,onion rings, a mushroom , fillet steak with a toasted croute topped with pate and red wine. They forgot the onion rings, but Brought them out, while eating the fillet steak it was a little touch but as it was the edges I thought they could just be slightly over done I ordered medium rare) I got a little closer to the middle it was medium, but the fat and sinew made it impossible to chew and eat, also no pate or red white sauce, as the girls were happy with their meal I eat the toasted croute, mushroom,onion rings and tomato, and like my youngest daughter I thought the chips were chewy very straight feeling to eat) as menu had been taken away I couldn't check if I had misread what was to come with the steak. Never got asked half was though meal if things were OK, even though their was only 1 other table eating in our area at the Same time with about 5 staff waiting on. When they came over to take the plates away they asked if everything was OK, I said not really can I have another look at the menu, which the lady kindly brought over, yes my fillet steak was meant to come with pate and red wine, so I informed her of how bad the quality of steak was and I couldn't eat any more of it and it wasn't served with the pate and red wine, she said I can see that, your plate is dry !! She said sorry about that and walked away. No more was said until bill came and the girl said we have taken off your drink large white wine £7) because of that !!! Wow could believe the explanation for refund of wine... and can't believe that the meal was that bad and things weren't served on it.. and for a £36 meal they refund a £7 glass of wine. No really apology, shocked and stunned that not even a voucher was offered to try and encourage us to come back. Total bill which I paid was £76.00 That was still paying £29 for my meal wow just wow) As we maybe moving to the area, we were hoping this could be our new place to dine out. As my daughters enjoyed their meal, I will give it another try, but I will stay clear of their steak. It was such a shame as its such a stunning place, which was decorated lovely for the festive season."

"TRACY the owner was VERY RUDE. We always go here for many years now because the food is amazing , The chef and Courtney and other waiting staff are very nice BUT won't come back ever because of Tracy. First time my daughter cried in years, but TRACY immediately came to us and wanted us out, she said can't have my baby crying whilst people are trying to eat. She had seen me trying my best to pacify my baby. My baby cried more because a baby came in crying but she didn't approach the other family just us. Don't recommend this restaurant. I will only come back when there's a new management. Can't wait for a new owner"

"Called in for a coffe with family on a recent trip to the town.. i can honestly say this is the worse experiance we have ever had in a coffee/tea shop..latte? warm milk with the smallest amount of coffee added... staff ? miserable..sour faced girls ...couldnt wait to get rid of us.. this shop is a disgrace to this beautiful town .. no wonder weatherspoons greggs are always busy... please dont waste your money here... its a disgrace !"
