"Well, this place is pretty pricey, but it is certainly worth it. Basically it is a craft beer bar located in the heart of Fremantle, but not only does it serve craft beer, it serves craft beer that is brewed on the premises. Okay, probably the term brewery is better than bar, but still, this place is pretty cool, and the beers are certainly quite good. The other thing is that the service was also good, though it did feel to be more focused on being a restaurant. However, it was a great place to sit down for a beer, even if the beer was a little more expensive than normal."

"Really bad experience! Came down for lunch, $50 for two tiny serves of fishermans basket which had oil thin fish, store bought calamari and tiny prawns & scallops dripping of oil. so disappointing, my family and I used to come down all the time to freo just for Kailis, safe to saw we won't be returning any time soon."

"Despite its amazing location I'm afraid this restaurant is disappointing. The staff were too busy and the salmon undercooked ( I know it doesn't require full cooking ) but even for me it was mostly raw. The wine list is also on the expensive side."

"The sign at the front said Number fish n chips in WA. So after reading that I was expecting nothing less. Unfortunately they did not deliver. We ordered the basic fish and chips. For me the batter was oily but the fish was okay....I rarely leave negative reviews but the food didn't get near what I was expecting. Pretty much on par with any basic fish and chip shop in the country. I won't be back."

"Fremantle's Federal Hotel first opened in and has recently been refurbished to include accommodation, function spaces and several areas where you can drink dine. The menu is based on traditional Australian pub food, with shared dishes, burgers, salads and daily specials. Renay I were recently invited to the Federal Hotel launch party and treated to a fantastic selection of the hotel’s food drink."

"Ambience good has a real nautical feeling about the place. view over the water on the fishing fleet very good service was ok, obviously a skeleton staff was a Monday. I had a pale beer, but could not get a second because that was your...last after another pale bee on the drink card, but they were also from this. my wife and I were disappointed by the grilled barra that we ordered at $34 both came with the skin on one side and not much fish on the other side. they had to scrape more or less the fish off the skin. the chips were good as the coffee the fish let the meal a fish jack, we expected the fish to serve a top knot, but it wasn't! I'm sorry, but we didn't hurry."

"I've only been here for breakfasts but always liked it. It's nothing different or special but they do a decent and generous big breakfast with excellent bacon and perfectly crispy hash browns. Some of the waitresses could try smiling once in a while but at least the food is good."
