"Whilst this may sound weird to some, I believe that some establishments can get away with having marginally disappointing beer, food, or service is the aesthetic is right and have that certain je ne sais quoi. We found The Sloop by doing a google search for dog friendly pubs within the vicinity when visiting Pembrokeshire a few weeks ago. As we drove down into the hamlet it became very obvious that this was a popular choice as whilst there was quite a lot of parking it was going to be a challenge to find a free space. I don't know whether we had the option to sit inside as we tend to not when we have the pups with us and anyway what's a little drizzle on holiday? (let the records show that drizzle became redefined in July of 2023).. I cannot think of anything that I did not like about The Sloop, including location and setting, atmosphere at the bar, the welcome from staff, food and drinks. There were some local Ale options which of course I was compelled to try as part of my mantra to aid local business and all of which were well kept. We will definitely seek out the place more deliberately when next in the area."

"Not only did they mess up my order. When I asked if they put salt and viniger on my 3 lots of chips, they told me I didn't order that when I placed my order. Never have I ever had to order salt and viniger...when ordering. This gets asked when they place it up. However they called me a lier when I said they never asked me, infront of other customers. Also the 2 other customers before me got asked when they dished up the order, like a normal fish and chip shop. Narberth chip shop is definitely not the same as it used to be, and customer service is well off. Kilgetty chip shop will always be my port of call from now on!"

"Just returned to sheffield after an amazing week in little haven and just wanted to say what a wonderful place the saint brides inn is. fantastic personal, good eating, an amazing series of Ales,ciders and gins, but must be welcomed by all who was always warm and friendly. very almost won quiz too. for all visitors in little haven this place is a must."
