"Absolutely delicious. came here to lunch and had mushroom Arachini balls for escape, which were crispy on the outside, and soft and delicious on the inside. the bruscetta was also amazing and the brot was so soft and fresh. the fischburger was also delicious, so crispy and perfectly cooked. the other Burger fillings have worked really well. the chips were a bit simple and not much salt on them, but I could have asked for some, but simply not. the Haloumi salad was really delicious, and a good balance. very generous with avocado, which is rare today, and the haloumi was not too salty, which was perfect. I had only haloumi like this other time, so I was happy to have found another place that has this perfect haloumi. location is amazing to see to the yachts and boot. the staff was friendly and polite. would recommend 100% to go here."

"Great food, no booking required (yay! and probably the best prices in town. Fast food service too, which is amazing considering how many people able this place has. Many outside tables so it's not too noisy and you don't have to shout to be heard over music or sports TV broadcasts. Highly recommended."

"Best takeaway between Port Douglas and the Equator. Had a steak sandwich (which came with beetroot and an egg, so it was a proper steak sandwich) for only $16 reminded me of the legendary Eucla Roadhouse Steak Sandwich of Awesomeness from '82 when I was cave diving out in the Nullarbor. Wife had the cheese burger which she loved cooked just right, not greasy, not dry. Then we had chips. Minimum is a bag for $4 and we couldn 't even finish it between the two of us. Then there was Dave, the man himself (plus the missus out in the kitchen). Dave 's history getting to Port Douglas to finally prepare food for us should be made into a documentary on ABC, or at least made into a statue at the Wharf. This place is busy, so Dave made an estimate between 45 and 50 minutes, give me your number and I 'll call you when it 's done. Legend! Even Maccas hasn 't thought of that one. In case you were wondering, it actually took 47 minutes, so Dave 's food preparation estimates are second to none. The wife and I strolled the main street in the balmy evening air, secure in the comfort of knowing Dave would call and he did! We 'd already returned and sat awestruck by his stories as he regaled us of adventures far and wide. People gathered around in hushed tones. Passers by nodded with murmers of that 's Dave! . We sat and ate in the warm night air once served. A memory to last a lifetime. And this can be yours too. Visit Dave, have some fish chips or a burger, you won 't regret or forget. Highly recommended."
