"Clean and modern bar however extremely over priced for £7 a pint! The bar staff were so great and friendly (joe was amazing and so great). Sadly I am unlikely to come here again as there are very similar pubs in Newbury at half the price for the same quality."

"This was our first visit to The Butt Inn, but probably won’t be our last. The food was very good and there was plenty of choice. Roasts included two cuts of beef, chicken, pork, lamb and turkey. Service, especially from Farren, was excellent. Unfortunately we couldn’t leave a tip as we had no cash and tips couldn’t be added to a card payment."

"Well I have to say the best pub in newbury. Ruth, jess and Martin are amazing bar staff always looking after you and always on the ball Nothing is to much trouble for them very accomadating The banter and craic is good with locals ie wee Andy and Les .. I highly recommend this pub it's a home from home"

"There for Friday dinner. You said we could choose anywhere we like to sit, but if we chose a table in the restaurant immediately said that you don't!!! It was not reserved, so there was no reason to move us, but he set us the other end of the restaurant for reasons that are best known to him. Food was acceptable, but not fantastic. The prices were on the high side."

"Fantastic land reasturant, beautiful environment and amazing food. the staff is very helpful and always tries to please even by the difficult times we face at the moment. the bladebone currently has a 3 for £20deal, Wednesday and Thursday 12 3 5.30 9.30 without compromise at quality defo recommend a* beautiful covered terrace areas and lower garden over looking fields."
