"Classico Moderno is a small, authentic Italian restaurant with friendly service and a chef passionate for authentic Italian food. <br>

The Fichi e Gorgonzola was an amazing entree! The combination of fresh fig, creamy Gorgonzola and salty-tart balsamic glaze all worked perfectly together on some super fresh bread. <br>

One of their main dishes is Passatelli alle vongole. Classico Moderno make their passatelli in-house and to order. The pasta itself is very unique in texture and flavour, and I found the pippies super fresh and salty. It takes a few bites to become familiar with this kind of pasta, but once I was - I was hooked. It is definitely worth a try!<br>

I also managed to try their Cioccolatissimo which is a chocolate brownie hidden underneath a bed of fresh cream. The brownie had a soft centre yet a crisp outer layer - pairing that with the fresh cream made for a delectable end to our meal.<br>

I've visited this restaurant twice over the last year and feel this restaurant is a great place to go for a mid-week date night for a quiet and satisfying meal. <br>

"Small menu but great food. The pizza was great. I got the squid ink pasta, it was slightly salty but definitely interesting. Wouldn't recommend that dish if you are on a date. It won't be a pretty dish to eat."

"Only had coffee and dessert here. Coffee was from Mutch and Moore. Well made but don't think I was a fan of the coffee beans. Biscotti was great. Wouldn't mind trying some of their other cakes and pastries."

"I went here with my teenage daughters spur of the moment on Friday after work drinks nearby. Great bistro style food chicken with brussell sprouts especially good and the meringue with strawberries was melt in your mouth. Terrific support. My new favourite Sydney restaurant."

"Ottimo ristorante italiano a Sydney! I have been here many times and never been disappointed! Food is really amazing and the gnocchi literally melt in your mouth! One of the highlight is the amazing onion focaccia that they serve you for FREE as an appetizer. Highly recommended! Prices have gone up a little bit since the restaurant first opened and I am missing the homemade FREE biscuits at the end of the meal, but for the rest well done guys! =)"
