"Skinny Dog is a great place but needs to fix their booking system it is not clear enough that upstairs and downstairs are basically different restaurants and do not serve the same food/specials, and the staff are completely unhelpful around this"

"We've recently moved into the area and love our new local, The Kent. We've been twice and both times the staff have been very friendly and accommodating even getting a bowl of water for our puppy. Food is fantastic too, I had the homemade cavatelli with mussels and nduja special, it was excellent. Looking forward to many more visits!"

"Dined here on a quiet Saturday lunch; a small fine dining Italian restaurant with some tables and a few counter seating at the wine bar. Had the following from the menu: Complimentary bread with olive oil was ok Poach lobster dish; one of the specials off the menu, the lobster itself was good; soft and sweet. But didn't enjoy the rest of the dish; the foamy cream using lobster head didn't have much flavour and the capsicum cake was soft and soggy; not much texture to the dish Red prawn crudo; very fresh and sweet tasting, bursting with concentrated flavour from the prawn and basil oil. The pear shards added a nice thin crisp to the bite Spaghettini was cooked perfectly with large chunks of juicy and tender moreton bay bugs; sauce was savory with a mild garlic taste and the rocket leaves helped soaked up the sauce Chocolate and orange delice; a well balanced dessert, the orange jelly layer in the delice added another dimension of flavour complimenting the sweetness of the chocolate, sorbet was refreshing and the chocolate soil had a pleasant mix of flaky and crispy textures instead of the generic crumbly biscuit soilOverall the dishes ordered from the main menu was delicious and the service was great."

"My wife and I visited this restaurant for her birthday last year and really enjoyed it. We decided to to do the same this year. What we didn't realise was that it had changed hands. It soon became obvious that the new owners do not...have a clue... my steak was served rare instead of medium and the soufflé that we were looking forward to sharing wasn't cooked. When we sent this back to the kitchen there was no apology just two sparkling red wines arrived on our table. The evening was topped off by witnessing an argument between another dining couple and the head chef when the latter refused to honour a gift certificate. I hope that the gentleman took the new owners to Consumer Affairs. The actions of the head chef have no doubt lost this restaurant at least four customers, who will never return!"

"I often stay at the Royce Hotel and have breakfast at the Dish. Always a very nice and full Aussi breaky - only drawback maybe that they charge the cappuccino separately.But tonight I had again dinner at the Dish and I must say: very very nice and delicious! Calamari as a starter and spaghetti as a main course. Fine taste, fresh, simply perfect. Delicious nose, equilibrated. Yummi."
