"Mussels were the best I ever had, we even asked for more bread to soak the sauce (they accused us for the extra bread). The portion size was also value for money, filling us up! Also Sunday roasting was amazing, taste and quality reflected the price. Quality cooking and quality ingredients. The atmosphere was good, welcoming and warm. The staff was attentive and helped answer questions and questions. Drinks were also good. In any case, the shells would go back alone!"

"Went on recommendation. Ordered a marina platter for 2. Huge amount of chips, which made the meal look big when it came out.The 2 prawns skewers were almost cold & soft (possibly a frozen product?) The 2 large 'fresh' tiger prawns had next to no taste. The 2 large battered prawns were basically the same. The 2 grilled scallops were in a sauce that was very salty. The 2 kilpatrick & 2 mornay oyster were ok, but my husband said mine are better, and I'm just your average cook. The chips, calamari & salt/pepper squid were nice.But at a cost of $98 for the platter & 2 soft drinks, we won't be back.As my husband said "oh well we've been here, won't be back."It's in a nice spot, but is basically a cafe sharing the position with an ice cream outlet."
