"Many gluten free options, in fact the flour tortillas are probably the only gluten item in the menu. Had a wonderful tostada with very fresh ingredients. Dedicated fryer... No gluten items deep fried on the menu. Great service and knowledgeable staff would go there again."

"My family and I went there for a visit and food, we were in the outdoor terrace, it was so loud out there between the music and people chatting, I felt very unpleasant. The food was too expensive. The menu could be offered more dishes. Not a place to visit and relax and have a meal. we ordered medium good steak and it was rare steak."

"Awesome tacos! Surf Side California makes great tacos that not only taste awesome, but very healthy, fresh, and won't blow your diet (if you're on one)! Fast food that's not fat food - a traveling restaurant - what a terrific idea. We're fans - after first experience at the Food Truck Fest - really glad we went:)."

"I love restaurants with a short menu and rotating specials based on local ingredients. It makes choosing easy, and you know everything will be good. The burger special I had was fantastic, one of the best burgers I've ever had, and large burger to boot. The Caesar salad that came with it was huge and so good too, not just a cheesy after-thought of a salad, but a true and proper Caesar with bite. My partner had the pulled pork and fries, and once again, the portion size was very generous and really great value. It's a classic pulled pork, but by default, does not come with slaw on the sandwich, so make sure to ask. Our 3 year old was with us, and they were very accommodating and made up something simple off the menu for her. Overall, a lovely casual and intimate eating in experience."

"Steak was not tasty, service was mediocre, salads delivered with meal rather than before. 3 of the people out of 4 rated their meal below expectation. First time I have every been disappointed at Joeys. Considering the money spent and the overall experience it may be a while before any of us return."

"Nothing beats the great god that comes out of the cactus club. The moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted by the hostess area. One thing that made me upset was we didn’t get a table asking the window side. They started it was for reservations only. Funny thing I made reservations for that evening but plans changed and we were earlier. They wouldn’t give us the open table that was there. Which in my opinion isn’t right. They should do everything they can to make the guests happy. Anyways John was our waiter and we was spectacular. Very attentive and super friendly. I drank the spicy jalapeños margarita which was so yummy and delicious. And I upgraded to the Don Julio because you can never get really get a tequila that smoother. We’re stuck to the appetizers again only because we’re not big eaters unless we include our kid who wanted everything on the menu that started new. He had the chicken and pickles which didn’t disappoint. I’m certain there was enough pickles on there for the entire restaurant but he loved them and was a happy customer. I ordered spicy wings which is always a great table pleaser s as everyone always has to have one. Hubby ordered his sushi rolls which are always on point. Our son moved into his second appy which was the guacamole "
