"Went to brunch. Guacamole was ordered medium spicy but was very bland and had no salt. With the Sopes Benedict Traditional entree, the poached eggs were overdone, more like hard boiled and the Canadian bacon couldn't be cut. With the Hurache Con Carne Asada, the skirt steak was delicious but the fried egg was hard and inedible. Ordered the bottomless beverages and the drinks were so weak I was able to drink three and usually I can only drink one drink before feeling the effects. Very disappointed. Love Rosa Mexicana but will not visit the location again"

"OK, so I couldn 't help but noting review of DJ below. The management use to discriminate against paying the black entertainers? Really? New York is typically not that way (especially East Village) but I guess you know something I don 't. If that did happen, that is very sad and wrong.My story is, I stopped by the other day. I had an appointment in Union Square. I remembered the place from a private birthday party I went to only in December. I loved it back then! Thought the place was great! Now they have outdoor seating so they are trying during hard times. Workers seemed to be nice.I bought a fish taco and drinks; saved food for a homeless guy who finally came by. It was pouring rain at that time. Three of us were under the awning with homeless guy. He was so hungry and ate taco in two bites. He was suppose to walk away with the food made to go. I offered to buy him another. I guess that was my mistake. He was just so skinny.Manager started to call me ma 'am as a way to undermine me to get rid of him. She could have been smart and said, Sir, we only serve paying patrons at our establishment and you were already given free food. That would have gone over perfectly and he would have understood. It 's how she handled that I think bothered me. Nobody likes to be called ma 'am at a bar. I just think an East Village Bar/Lounge Manager should have more expertise on how to handle different types of people and situations while still keeping paying customers happy. Overall I had a nice/OK time giving rating of a 3."

"Great vibe, amazing atmosphere, companied with delicious food. The reason is at the roof of the Refinery hotel. It?s super packed during lunch hours, reservation is highly recommended. They have some tables inside, bit most of the dinning area is under the sun, with a open glass roof. The main attraction of the rooftop is Empire State Building. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a nice bar in the middle, basking under the sun. They have a short menu, but stillvaries dishes between appetizers, entree and salads. We got lobster roll, fish tacos and their new item, lollipop lamb chops. All the items were to the mark. Fish taco was filled with several toppings and spicy mayo, giving it so muchflavor and taste. Lamb lollipops were 3 pieces, all cooked to perfect temperature. Through out the dinner we had marvelous service, everyone at the restaurant is super friendly."
