"We were passing through Harrisburg, and my husband is a big fan of Pubs, so we thought we would give McGrath's a try. We have pretty high expectations when it comes to Pub's and good food in general. This place did not disappoint! I ordered the duck and they just substituted more vegetables for Boxty, since I am gluten free. It was cooked to perfection, and one of the best duck dishes I have ever had. The pear chutney combination was amazing! My husband said the genuine shepherd's pie (lamb! was extremely tasty, and a generous portion! The prices are VERY reasonable. We came on a Wednesday. It was quick service, and although the server said she was new, she did a wonderful job, and was very helpful! Would definitely recommend this place."

"Extremely disappointed. The food itself was only warm enough to eat, including the (watery) Queso we had to send back to be warmed up... essentially cold after serving. Quantities were actually decent, but zero taste was all BLAND... and did I mention cold? The free salsa was as warm as the queso as watery you could not immerse a chip in it without making a mess on the table. This place is NOT worth the cost, especially if you consider that they charge you extra for payment with a card."

"This was a cool joint and our service was very good...my biggest complaint would be regarding the soup...I ordered the cheddar ale soup, thinking it would be appealing. Well let 's just say that they bring you a bowl of the same cheese dip that you would get with a pretzel. So of course we had to order a pretzel to soak up the soup"

"Tacos ordered: Shrimp, Carne asada, Chorizo. All were filled with deliciousness. The flavors in each taco blended perfectly with just the right amount of spice and flavors. I'll be returning for more of all three. If you think three isn't going to be filling, you will be surprised. Skip salsa and chips. They were a bit disappointing. The salsa was boring, lacking in the expected bold flavors I was expecting. The chips tasted commercial, like something you can pick up in the local grocery store."

"We ordered over the phone and picked the food up. The food was ok, but not that good. Ordered a lot of food, and my wings were overdone and tasted like old grease. The carolina gold sauce was the best part. The burger we asked for certain things to be on and off the burger, and it came with everything on it. The garlic parmesan wings did not taste good at all."
