"I usually judge a Mex place on the way their beans taste. Good thing as I had just enough for a bean and cheese burrito and a gallon of petrol petrol not served their of course) and it was the best bean and cheese burrito I have ever had!One vlock from the beach in proper La Jolla , and life was really great plus I got to see my hometown and was super charged having attended Torrey Pines Church and was blessed to hear a wonderful message in the sermon as well as be where I have so many fond memories ."

"This place is a treasure. Located in a 100 year old house, there is indoor and outdoor seating. The service is outstanding. They have a great selection of cocktails and excellent local beers. The avocado toast is not only delicious but it's beautifully presented. The waffle fries are also not to be missed. This is a must do situation."
