"With total fuke, I landed here for lunch twice a weekend, and I was blown away every time. Breakfast one day and lunch the second. Both meals were absolutely delicious and well portioned. They used the classic diner atmosphere, but with modern twists and a creative menu that is not inflated or intimidating. Full-day breakfast is a HUGE plus, and there is always hot coffee in the pot. The breakfast sausages are just the best I ever had. I also tried the wings, and Tacos and both were also the best I had. (Which is hard to say about wings, but the sal is wet). The servers were anything but beautiful. Phenomenal job Aaron and crew. Go on. I'll sport my Sal hat with Gusto."

"If I could give zero stars, I would. there were false advertising, terrible administration, and I had to fight to get a refund for something I was misleading. not to mention, I was not the only one who was angry with being deceived. this evaluation is also for them. there was no compensation for an hour offered by me and friends time. this will be posted to any review website, so they know whether they are paid to get this deleted."

"Have been in previously for the odd drink or two, but first time coming in to dine. We started with the eggs on eggs on eggs appetizer, as well as the pork belly. The egg dish was a nice treat, very flavourful and loved the variety of texture. The pork belly was to die for, best appetizer we've had in a while, the pork just falls apart it's cooked so perfectly and the sauce was amazing. For dinner I had the classic pulled pork sandwich and my fiancé had the lambwich. We were both super impressed with how delicious our mains were, and the portion sizes were huge! They had live music from an Irish string group playing, and a great sized crowd. Our server was friendly and efficient. Only complaint is that I wish they had more wine options, as the house red was sub par. It made for an awesome date night, and we will definitely return!"

"My friend and I went to Lincoln Street Eatery the other day for lunch. We both had hot dogs and both were OK. I can't remember what my friend had. I had a hot dog with green mayo, crispy onions, weiner cooked in Guiness Stout and covered with Smoked Porter cheddar cheese. All sound good, except that the chocolate and mocha notes of stout did not enhance or even come out in the weiner, which looked and tasted like a regular boiled weiner. The cheese tasted like regular cheddar cheese. So the high end ingredients did nothing to enhance the hot dog. I may go back and try some of the other menu items, but I'll pass on the hot dogs."

"Today my husband and I are meeting my girlfriend and her husband for a late afternoon snack at El Tres. We arrived a bit early and I opened the door and peeked inside, to see a restaurant that was very dark and painted black. I had to step outside and look at the address on the front to make sure we were at the right place. Going inside it felt like we were going to a night club in the middle of the afternoon.We were seated at a large table that held eight, there weren’t many tables that held four, and I didn’t want to sit in a dark corner, I wanted to be near the big window. My girlfriends and her husband arrived and we picked some things to share around the table, I had the Quesadilla my girlfriend had the guacamole and chips, my husband had the corn soup and her husband had a cheese dip and cheese balls with bean dip. The food was tasty it was certainly not your Taco Time flavours; it was more of the Mexican food that you would encounter on holidays in Mexico.While we were at the restaurant it was around 2pm, and there were two other tables with other people enjoying the food. The service was terrible. We waited and waited. We came in at 1:30 and it was well after two when the food arrived. I can’t imagine what this place would do if every table was filled. I also wouldn’t recommend it if you are working downtown and you have a one hour for lunch. I had to ask our waitress several times about the sour cream (crème fresh) and about my iced tea.Would I go back to this restaurant? Probably not, I found the inside somewhat macabre. Plus, I have other things to do during the day than sit and wait for a meal. If you have lots of time to kill and you like traditional Mexican maybe this is the place for you. The food flavours were great but the service was less than acceptable so I will give it a three dots."

"The Excuria v2.0 is not the same Excuria culinary experience of the past. What used to be a fantastic middle to upscale flavourful contemporary american cuisine is now forgettable, tasteless and heavy food on par with any typical truck stop grease joint. Whereas I used to frequent the original Excuria, this was my second and most definitely my last visit at the v2.0. If you are looking for heavy food, salty soup, huge burgers, processed liquid cheese on your nachos and deep fried everything else then this is the place for you. What killed the original restaurant in my opinion (aside from any politics/finances i may not be aware of) was their heating issues. It was impossible to enjoy a meal in the winter there as the place was freezing and on several occasions I had to sit there with my parka on. The one positive if the new restaurant is that it appears the heating issue has been solved. on Friday at 5 6 the place was deserted which is not a good sign. They also close at 8?? so if you want to go out with friends for casual dining, drinks and conversation Excuria should not be on your list of potential destinations. As much as I would love to see more restaurants on this end of town I doubt the new v2.0 will survive long."

"Great outsight and ambiente! mediocre food and smaller portions for the price. Should the breakfast portions and creative options be improved together with the trips, we would consider this restaurant more regular place to come with friends or for a nice private time. our server was super, attentive and personal!"
