"I have heard over and over again about how good the food is here. So when organizing a large group for a brunch I thought I would give it a try.Knowing that I had a large group I did reserve ahead of time. When I got there, they were ready for us. Pitchers of water on the tables and all the cutlery already set up.As the group staggered in they were ready with clip board for names and orders (separate orders, so more work). Now the food... there is a wide variety and I think we covered a lot of it.I had the special which is cheap $3.99 (peameal $4.95), even the eggs benedict is very reasonably priced. Everyone of us enjoyed our meals and clearly the value cant be beat. Will definitely be returning."

"Always a nice experience here! The staff is so friendly and the owner is about to check everything. The atmosphere feels uplifted, but it is definitely comfort food, and the prices are reasonable. My mother and I always come to Costco for lunch!"

"My coworkers and I ordered food for pick up today I ordered the butter chicken. When it arrived I was disappointed. Thee was only chicken No rice or naan bread my coworkers and I will no longer be ordering from this establishment. There are many...other choices for this style of food in our area."

"Worried about catching COVID then avoid The Portly Piper. We of us) sat at a table overlooking the entrance and watched dozens of people pour into the place with no contact name taken nor was their ID checked. It was a hit and...miss effort! I mentioned all of this to owner who said he would talk to his staff. Wake-Up idiot!! This virus has been with us for almost years, get with the program or loose your liquor license. We spoke with our server who was mortified. I suspect she will look for another job. It's places like this one that are responsible for all bars/restaurants being shuttered again! To repeat, avoid this place like the plague...unless you want it!!"

"Our bartender/ server was so informative about the food as the menu had sooo many great sounding dishes that we will be back a few times to check them out. I started with the clam chowder which was by far the best I have had. I went for a down east style Donair that was very good. My wife really enjoyed her garlic shrimp and bacon Penne pasta. Good draft selection and a decent choice of wines by the glass."
