"We waited almost an hour to order, rather too long I thought. But nice decor, good atmosphere, excellent staff, but a bit understaffed the night we were there. Being South African I just had to order the South African burger and although it was really nice (especially since I was hungry after waiting so long to order) I didn't see what made it South African. A little Mrs Ball's chutney would have done the trick, or some spicy chakalaka. Parking is also problematic, probably best to use public transport. All in all well worth a visit but don't expect an authentic South African burger."

"At first sight, it is the same old brewery restaurant, but it is when you go eat there that you realize how much of a different place this has become.Up to 5 years ago I used to be a regular guest and bring friends and colleagues to enjoy this pleasant place, where nicely prepare comfort food and several different cordon bleus were prepared nicely, consistently good and at a reasonable price.5 years ago I went again after different ownership/management took it over and already saw major differences. Smaller menu and feeble taste (but higher prices).Last Sunday my wife and I decided to try it again, only to be confirmed in our previous judgment.Major disappointment.If you want to have nice cordon bleus, there are many better places nowadays.Only 5 years ago this was THE place for cordon bleus!What a pity."

"Inorder to operate an open kitchen concept you have to be very very good and the kitchen staff has to work like a well oiled engine. It does for the kitchen staff. However the service part needs at times a tune up. Overall the food...is done well .Presented very nice . And full of exiting herbs and spices. If there is one thing that i would like to see and i am a smoker is that the staff finds a different place to smoke as in not next to the front entrance."
