"Interring place . I went over Christmas and it was relatively quiet. It is a cross between Willy wonka and Frozen. There was pink everywhere and horse carriages. A vision dreamt up in someone’s head . The staff were ok but and pleasant enough. The menu was massive and it advertised itself as a Tea room but it had a pub menu on top of the tea , scones and desserts. Make your mind up please. The actual tea and scones we ordered was really nice . Hot scones with jam and cream. The lemon tart was amazing The the teas were interesting. The pear and ginger came ina camel tea pot ! Yes a camel tea pot ! It was hugged and was meant for one but there was enough for 4 people. My Chinese tea tasted of plain water and was a lot smaller in portion. The robot needs to be seen to be believed. Apart from the lack of gender neutrality it was a nice experience and I would go back."

"Love this almost near local pub. Been coming here for years. Has become a bit of a lunchtime venue for Londoners searching for country pubs. Good for children as play area our front on green which, is not part of the pub. Well kept beers"

"Without doubt the best pub I know of in Surrey. If you are looking for a pub that still has got the pub atmosphere and great food then this pub is definitely the one. The Sunday roasts are amazing and not to be missed."

"Food was absolutely delicious! Haggis scotch egg was yummy, fish and chips was perfect batter was so light, crispy and very tasty! The fish was amazing. Chocolate fondant was gooey and chocolatey spot on!"

"A lovely meal cuttlefish pasta and pork chop with harissa tomatoes. Food was great, quality ingredients used well, and my pork chop was succulent and perfectly cooked. The wine list had a French bias which suited us, the owners were welcoming and charming, and service was excellent. We will definitely return here."

"We were here for my birthday with my parents and again on the 14th january for my husband 60 birthday in the garden space we were recommended after due excellent service and eating and wein absolutely delicious I would recommend the pough inn for a real tasty."

"Ordered medium quarter chicken, was put through as medium on till by server. Received hot quarter chicken instead, they replaced with medium chicken after 5-10 mins by that time my sides are already cold and didn’t enjoy the food as much. "I visited with my mum for a late lunch on a weekday. We hadn't booked but were made to feel very welcome. The food was absolutely delicious and all the staff work hard to make you feel welcome and valued, in beautiful surroundings. The only issue was around paying for some reason the card machine wasn't working (not sure what the issue was) so I had to walk down the road to get cash out once we knew how much the bill was."
