"Wandering through the backstreets of Courseulles sur Mer, we came across this small almost inconspicuous restaurant. Not sure where the 'salon de the ' bit comes in, but the salads were enormous, and the crepes both savoury and sweet were excellent; for...something a little different, try one from the specialités menu. The rustic décor felt in keeping with the character of the place and best of all the service was exemplary. Suffice to say that we skipped a barbecue at the campsite and went back a second night."

"Our first night out in Normandy were a huge disappointment. The flavour combinations were very strange. It was bland, hardly any salt and pepper were used. The staff did not speak any English. No gluten-free bread and the waiter looked at us funny when we tried with "sans-gluten"."

"This restaurant has surpassed our expectations. We had planned to eat a little lunch and later on the day before returning to Britain. The ambience and menu encouraged us to change our plans and we stayed for lunch. The fish is very fresh and well represented. The menu gives good choices and is favorable. We started with oysters, my wife then had wives with most divine chips and I had turbot. The whole food was well cooked and the service was exceptional. It is a pleasant place where to eat spacious and tables are well spaced."

"This place doesn't look much from outside but the menu was lovely and the chef coming out to greet us was a nice touch. The main of tomato stuffed with fresh fish was delicious and the nicest fish I had in holiday. However I must add that the experience was a little tainted as the waitress was unable to help us out with the little bit of French we were trying to use to order. As a result we didn't get what we wanted for drinks e.g. My red wine never turned up and my father in law was served a cold 'hot chocolate'. If you have French however I'd definitely recommend."
