"Came here after doing a trip advisor search as we were in the mood for dumplings but wanted a sit down meal and not a quick takeaway. The food was beautiful, plentiful and reasonably priced considering it’s proximity to the harbour bridge. There were quite...a lot of business people eating lunch here while we were there which is a good sign as it shows that the service is quick and that it’s reasonable. Well worth a visit."

"Four of us dined on a Saturday night when the Gantry serves a five course degustation - $99pp + $75pp with matching wines. Having polished off a few cocktails beforehand at the Pier One Hotel bar next to the restaurant, we opted for a glass or two of wine each from the wine list, and the bill came to $250 per couple rounded up for a small tip. The service was timely and the waiters, very personable with a fine knowledge of the menu and wines. There is a good range of the latter by the glass as well as a comprehensive list of varieties from all corners of the globe. The food was delicious - each course building in texture, richness and complexity, and beautifully presented. We actually ate six courses as we were served a pre dessert, and petit fours were served with the bill as we didn't order coffee.The restaurant itself is not overly loud despite the hard surfaces, and the decor is interesting with moody lighting and comfortable chairs. If you're lucky you might even get to share a couch!"

"Lovely spot to have a dinner before the show at the theatre. We shared few tapas plates : Seared Scallops, veal meatballs, Green Bean Baby Potatoes, pitas with dips and olives and all dishes were delicious. Service was quick, friendly and attentive. Definitely will come back"

"During the intermission of Cloud at the Sydney Theatre Company (which was excellent by the way we refueled with cocktails while admiring the picturesque views of Luna Park and the harbor.<br br/>The Eleventh Hour (Vanilla Rum, Frangelico, Khalua and espresso) was one of the best Espresso-like martinis I've ever had! I highly recommend! Unfortunately the Dancing Queen (Spiced Rum, Blue Curaçao, Frangelico, Pineapple juice Peach Bitters) wasn't as delicious but still an okay cocktail. <br br/>Overall, an absolutely gorgeous view to enjoy a pre, during or post theatre cocktail!"
