"There are not many places in Eden for a vegan to eat. We had the fritatta, burger and a piece of strawberry cake. The fritatta was super dry and a bit tasteless, the burgers were really good but quite pricey $18 for a burger with no side?!! . The cake was very dry and too sweet for my liking, and served with non vegan cream waitress asked if I wanted cream but didn't know if it was vegan, I said yes if it's vegan. I found out the hard way it wasn't"

"Passing through on the way to Sydney we were told that the pub did good meals. I'm sorry to say that after a referral and looking forward to a good meal it was all downhill from there. We had to wait over an hour for a couple of very basic schnitzels. The salad was better than the basic bit of tomato and couple of different varieties of lettuce but the chips were cold and tasted like they were the fries that McDonald's rejected. My veal schnitzel looked like it had been in a Bain Marie for a week and microwaved just for me. Thank God the beer has better quality control but the bottled coke was barely chilled. A tip for the staff would be that if there is going to be a long delay in serving meals they should say so when ordering."

"I ordered a hamburger with egg bacon cheese and tomato no lettus all i got was a egg roll i went back the nex day spok eto the lady she said it meat on and it didn't all it had was two burnt eggs raw bacon very little butter bun was firm not soft i would never go there again rather eat road kill no costomers during the day when went for bait to go fishing never again"

"Waited to be served at a quiet time, only other customers already served sitting. people behind the counter. Not one of them acknowledged me standing there right at the counter. After waiting a few minutes, I decided this type of rudeness does...not deserve my business went elsewhere. Rule in business guys, be polite and acknowledge your bread butter when it comes through your door!"

"This was our second visit and we had very high expectations and if anything they were exceeded! These fish and chips were superb. Everything is so fresh and well cooked. The service is excellent and the range of fresh fish and seafood for sale is also great. Thanks for a very enjoyable lunch."

"The Wharfside Cafe is a favourite for me and my husband because of its good food and great view of Eden wharf. So, we were a little put out to find it was closing when we arrived with family, on route from Melbourne to Narooma, all ready for a coffee hit and something sweet. Maybe it was the rain, or our winning smiles, that encouraged the top barista, Garry, to agree to serve us drinks (and with a little gentle "arm-twisting", some cake as well.) Either way, we were extremely grateful for the kindness of the owner and staff. The coffees and tea were great; the cakes were delicious, and we got to chat with our visitors, inside out of the rain."

"I used to live in Eden, and I was a regular at golden ocean. Always a good feed at a good price. I still visit Eden and usually get lunch or dinner, its never a disappointment. Its also been renovated which looks fantastic."

"Perfect for a couple of nights stay. Staff are friendly and attentive. The place is clean with brand new appliances and has an awesome look to it. The beds and pillows are comfy. These guys aren't trying to be something they are not, the price...was very cheap and great location. The Chinese restaurant next door is worth visiting too as I feel it will be the best food in the area. The decor has a great vibe about it and the food is actually pretty good. Try their home made chilli sauce!"
