"This place is a gem. Small family run restaurant, can be noisy when packed (only a fairly small space) but food quality is always there. Even my Indian doctor tells me he always eats there. Fully BYO so it makes a very reasonable night. For a table of 6 it was, with tip, $70 a double. The black dahl is fantastic."

"Had dinner here after searching for a place for dinner. The atmosphere is very family welcoming. I was here with my partner. We ordered a main each. I had a lasagne with ragu. Sauce was great but the ragu was rather tough. Had a bit of trouble chewing through it. The portions are generous. We both didn't finish our main. Finished dinner with a Nutella pizza with strawberries. Would be nice if there was a little bit more strawberries, but overall nice food!! Would try again"

"Hmmm. Maybe. I was spoiled. I remember the great days of Teppanyaki restaurants at Kent St in town. Very experienced and enthusiastic chefs, good food at a bargain price. Not so much here. First, the current prices are higher than shown in the menu...photos here. For example, the Nagoya set is $57. The food is good, the entertainment cooking enthusiasm are ok, the toilets are clean, the lady does not stop cleaning, pouring drinks etc. If you have children, it is a good (but not cheap) night out. Be ready for the hard sale for Mickey Mouse pancakes. But for adults? It's just a little tired, like the chefs."

"This cafe - bar - meeting place is open Thursday thru till Monday. It's quirky with a very casual atmosphere. We enjoy calling in for a coffee, hot chocolate, breakfast or lunch. Friday nights are more lively, usually with music and 'Tasting plates'. Food is good quality, well served with good friendly customer service. Great meeting place for locals or visitors alike."

"Sunday brunch time. a slower start after a late night, just wanted to cool with a good coffee some decent eating. this caffe is cozy seems very popular. the staff was very friendly, was sitting immediately, but then it seems to have forgotten to take my order. I had to get up to order water myself. the coffee, the cap, was pretty good, exactly what I needed. the French toast was served with the most random mix of fruits. pfirsich, berries, grapes (whole) circus. overall the food was ordered, can try them again for lunch only because they are friendly."
