"It’s common practice to inform the guests on arrival if courses on the menu are unavailable. Not so at Brakstad. After having studied the menu for a while we decided on shank of lamb, but were told it had not been in stock that day. The knowledge of available wines was also objectable."

"The food is really nice for our taste I just wish that the service would pay some more attention rather than talking amongst themselves, they also need to keep a better eye on reserved tables our table had been given away already and the staff had to move the couple that where sitting there. This happened a few times during the night. Otherwise great location and nice place to sit."

"My drink had an ameise in it, and the other drink I have. I asked for a court without meeting, got a piece of speckle in it. from all hearty, just a court for vegetarians. the same burger served throughout the city. I asked for an salad. what I got was in the grunde salat briefs with pinzette and 1! small cherry tomatin cut into two. I'm not going back there."

"Poor service, me and my wife were not greeted upon entering. We looked at one of the many girls behind the bar and asked for a table for two. One of them shrugged and told us “just sit wherever you want”. No menus were provided at the table so we had to go and get them ourselves from the bar. We ordered the burger of the month, and also the René burger. Fries were good, burgers were disappointing. Meat looked gray and tasted very bland. Would not recommend eating anything but deep fried food here. Beer selection looks decent."

"Fast, very good price and all the produce tastes fresh and is skillfully prepared by someone who knows what they're doing. I lived in four countries and about 7 different cities and so far this is the best sushi I've ever had. I recommend the Laks Futomaki and literally all the maki rolls and please do youself a favor and try their springrolls as well!! I always look forward to eating here when I visit :"
