"It opened a bit later than what was advertised, and as we were trekking, there were not really enough supplies like rice, bread and what would have been ideal, a camping gas. The woman was nice though!"

"We went to lunch and were warmly welcomed. The staff took care of us and pampered our dog. The menu is not extensive, but what they do is very good....we had Schellfisch and Chips with the homemade tartaric acid sauce The views, from The...Barn, over Skye and the Outer Hebrides make this a very special place (of course necessary weather). Definitely recommended and we will return."

"There is no atmosphere, not like in so many other pubs/restaurants etc. Very cold and uncomfortable. The food was also prepared with little love. Vegan Options: Soup of the day, a main, a dessert After the head, we didn't want to try the dessert. We didn't want to stay any longer. Staff was friendly"

"Good food, good value. Would definately recommend. Message to owner: having a 3rd member of staff on would more than pay for itself: customers would be served quicker so more customers per night. We waited a long time for our food. In the ~2 hours we were there 14 customers were turned away as there was no space."

"Located directly opposite Uig Tower, this restaurant had a good lunch. The service was a little slow, but it was worth waiting. The fish and chips were fresh and delicious, and we enjoyed the sticky toffe pudding. You have a good bar and a good selection of beers. Great lunch spot when exploring the island of Skye."
