We were very fortunate to be able to sit outside when having lunch at The Shieling as it was a beautiful day. The view over the loch to Skye is magnificent. The menu is extensive with casual items such as filled jacket potatoes and sandwiches and also has a good range of more substantial main courses. My jacket potato was good and service friendly and welcoming. Just wish this restaurant was open for dinner. read more.

In beautiful weather you can even eat in the outdoor area, and there is free WiFi. The rooms on site are accessible, and therefore no problem for customers with wheelchairs or physiological limitations.

What User doesn't like about The Shieling:
Popped in here for a few drinks and possibly a meal or with a view to book a meal within days of not possible that day. We were met by a polite but very quiet girl and signed in for Covid tracing.
