"Only watch kitchen nights on channel 7 and remember them on 21st august 2022 in the yachtclub for families who from the U.K. this meal was very poor and I felt very embarrassing. the pizza was greasy, the vegetarian falafel was dry and tasteless, the frittata terrible, the chips with a small part of fish was passable. funny is that coffee and cake on the morning is always quite good!"

"Hubby and I had a few hours to kill after driving into Ballarat to have work done on our vehicle. Hubby searched Google for eateries nearby so into our loan car and off to Pipers By The Lake. ** If using Google Maps for directions, be aware that it has the eatery on the wrong side of the road and about 300m NE of its true location. The Trip Advisor map, however, is correct. What a lovely building in such a pretty location. We were warmly greeted by staff and shown to our seats. Drink orders were taken soon after, and then meals. Hubby LOVED their coffee, even asking for the brand used. I don't drink coffee so can't comment on it but can say that I was very pleased to receive a piping hot pot of boiled water together with my Earl Grey tea bag, and a good sized cup - I enjoyed 3 cups of hot tea. Prices are a little on the high side with hubby baulking at $26 for the Big Breakfast and then $4.40 for extra sides, however the venue and location needs to be taken into context, and for this reason I didn't reduce the star score. Our order was for Eggs Benedict (with a side of Meredith feta) and a 3-stack of pancakes with vanilla-bean ice cream and maple syrup. The venue was at around 85% capacity and our meals were delivered in a timely manner. The eggs were perfectly done and thoroughly enjoyed, and the pancakes were the fluffiest I've tried in a long time. As we were leaving, the waiter heard me ask hubby to go out onto the alfresco area for a happy snap and kindly offered to come out and take one of us together. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience for us and our tummies."

"Delete the menu experience of mutter 's day set. I went to see as part of a group on Mother's Day. our table was booked at 1 o'clock. we ordered drinks to start and had to ask three times for our bottle sparkles. the other drinks were taken twice on our table. we have not received a menu for over an hour and only received it when we asked. when the torts finally arrived, the arancini was cold (the sauce was cold and the internal temperature lukewarm or cold depending on the part). also the skallops and the accompanying pure were cold. the crispy boar bell had very soggy skin. the main thing on all were fit (although the pig's lobe...read more"
