"In the space of 2 weeks we visited this restaurant in the small picturesque village of Lestelle Betharram for lunch 3 times. The 13euro plat du jour can only be described as incredible value. a typical 4 courses including a glass of wine: soup of the day served from a large tureen left on the table with a basket of bread, starters a serve yourself buffet of cold meats, fish and salad, or a large pastrie filled with bacon and mushrooms, and today a croque monsieur, main course, meat or fish dishes with vegetables and finally a buffet sweet from the fridge. Linen napkins elegant table setting and a slow service make for a lovely lunch experience. Value 5 stars quality/service and environment 3 stars,"

"We called without reservation and were warmly welcomed and shown on our table. aperitifs have been ordered and brought while we have penetrated the menu that is not long. one of us has chosen to be a fixed price...Menu, the other from the basket. all dishes were served very well and without being brushed between the curses. this is not a cheap kitchen on any wise, but is very good and will highly recommend a visit if they are in the opposite. we have this coupled with a visit to the nearby grottes de betharram, which made a great day."
