"I am really surprised at the 4 5 star ratings. Maybe I have been unlucky but I have had cod chips from them 3 times and every time it was literally dripping fat from it. Shouldn't have gone back a 2nd 3rd time but I had hoped that it would have improved. Really greasy. Shan't be using them again."

"We just had fish and chips for our staff lunch and it did not disappoint! Batter was nice and crispy and the fish was fresh and piping hot. Friendly staff and always happy to help. What more could you want?"

"We heard this place was beautiful and we had to try! we had a nice roasted, mushroom fountain with bratkartoffeln and veg. the children had nuggets and chips. they are very helpful and nice. we sat outside with our dogs so that it was practical that they are dog friendly! all reasonable and tasty, I really enjoyed this meal "

"Went there for lunch for the first time a couple of days ago after glowing recommendation from friends. Not disappointed. The ambience was warm and welcoming, enhanced by the wood stove and comfortable seating. The food was delicious and reasonably priced and the service faultless....What's not to like. Looking forward to our next visit."

"Fantastic food, love all the little extra touches and the staff were excellent. However, I felt we were left a long time without our drinks order being taken and drinks arriving. We’d read the whole menu several times and discussed it at length whilst supping on water, personally I like to sup on a glass of wine whilst deciding on what to eat and my husband would have liked to have had time to drink more than a few mouthfuls of his pint before his food arrived."
