"When you read my reviews you notice that I hardly give a bad one... this might be the very first... Arrived and asked for a table. The waiter was too busy chatting with another customer so we had to ask another waiter for the table. The menu is very acceptable, focusing in the seafood fish. The wine list isn 't bad but could be improved. Something I 'm finding in 90% of the restaurants in Portugal) For starter we asked for Queen Clams. After more than 30 minutes waiting no bread or anything else while we waited) we get the long awaited clams. Was expecting something bigger, meaty and better. But compared with what came next... they were awesome! Seafood rice... where do I beggin? Here the seafood rice is the Seafood boat €85) and rice on the side €10)! The rice had FROZEN SHRIMP and mussels! When you go to a sea town you don 't expect this... The shrimp and the 2 crabs were the only good thing in it. The Percebes were dry and old. The Sapateira was dry, feeling like it was frozen and unfrozen to be served. On the nose everything was good. Then you put then in your mouth... they become tastless... Such a huge disappointment... When the highlights of the lunch are the wine and the toasts... it says it all...! Service MUST improve a lot!!"

"Visited this place several times. Love the grilled squid but on this visit they were all out. Chose carne de porco alentejana instead. So flavorful. My husband had bacalhao com broa. Also very good. Had a long wait today because there was another big table but this was the first time we had to wait long (1hr) to eat. The waitress was very attentive and kept apologizing and making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely will come back and will call ahead and check if they have the grilled squid."

"I had dinner here yesterday. The staff was very kind and food great. Fish was very fresh and tasty, I really recommend Perceves and mussels. If you don’t like coriander always remember to ask not to put it! The place is very nice the terrace is great but you have to reserve for it!"
