"Unfortunately not what it used to be. We always went for the cocktails but this time they were very watery and quite flavorless. My margarita was filled with ice? Not expected for a shaken margarita and made it taste like cordial. Food was good."

"Had heard great things about this cafe but was a bit disappointed. It is a lovely location and has nice views. Sat in the outdoor area. Maybe I went on an off day or something, but found service to be a bit cold. Perhaps the upstairs area is friendlier. It's a nice enough place, but I've been to more atmospheric and much friendlier places. I did notice that the staff did seem to be friendly towards the locals/regulars though."

"Had lunch here on the of April were given the menu's which had lunch menu on one side and mains on the other side .The lunch menu had no prices so we're shocked to receive a bill and be charged for a burger...and for an average fish and chips and for pieces of goats cheese bruschetta which had virtually no goats cheese. I paid the bill without question as we were having a nice time with family but on reflection realised that we had paid way too much for what we were served"

"I was visiting my son in Sydney and stayed in Collaroy for a 3 week period. Looking for a nearby restaurant I found ZEST in an unassuming building and area just up the road from my apartment. Eating there for 5 nights in a row...it was difficult to move through the menu as everything I tried had to beat their sizzling Angry seafood . Service was quick polite and effective watrons being fully aware of ones needs before one asked. The surroundings look a little tired but the food and experience is a culinary delight Oh I only tried food with reasonable chilli content and was absolutely delighted of the retention of full flavour but with a decent amount of tasty heat."

"Visit regularly and although a takeway atmosphere there is ample seating. The location on the main street makes it a little noisy to sit in but the food is "perfect" and incredible value when compared to other eat in cafes etc around . My favourite...is the fish and calamari and the greek salad and my wife likes the burgers. A great option is to take the food to the park next door on the lake if weather is good. Never been disappointed."
