"This place is bad! I paid note of how many people were in the coffee lounge and carvery when we arrived, two tables and us. We asked for something simple (no hot drinks) a sandwich, water and hot food that was already prepared, so we could get in and get out quickly that was mistake number 1.35 minutes we waited until I went to ask for my money back but they said they were preparing our food, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt, mistake number 2. They only brought half of the order, so we had to ask again.No sorry, no freebee, the owner was stood there no apology no nothing. Ironically the sandwich we ordered was very nice but the service sucked. There were several others who complained. at the same time, don`t go there!"

"Ordered kiwi hot dogs and crab sticks and chips Don’t know what batter they use but it’s no good Waited mins to be served horrible oily food with no sauce on hotdog. Who does kiwi hotdog with no sauce Won’t be back"

"Well I went here 5 times and only once could I say I was not impressed. The food is just a light meal and the staff are willing to help you and let you know what is gluten free on their menu. They are very busy and the food does turn often. How people can say it looks like it has been sitting for ages I do not know as I have never seen it like that. I have always had a variety of baked potato's with different fillings, and they have been filling and well worth their money.If not happy take it back. Once I was not impressed I took it back; within 5 minutes I had a fresh plate of food exactly what I ordered and a free juice. My husband always has the fish and chips and enjoys the light batter. We would go back for a light lunch again."

"Visited our local bowls club after the kind offer of a free 2 for 1 meal and free drink for my birthday I always have a steak which is great but decided to try the veal with potatoes this was the dearest meal so we paid $28 the two pieces of veal were only one mouth full each with more veal for the price it would have been a fantastic dish they are not usually that stingy very very very disappointing especially for a birthday bash or may be thats why?"

"We aren’t from this area. I GPS’d a pizza and pasta place nearby as I drove home from the coast. What a find this place is!! The best pizza and carbonara we’ve had. The owner was friendly and stopped for a chat. They were able...to do whatever we requested for the kids. It was clean and beautifully presented. There are games to play for the kids too. You won’t be disappointed eating here "

"Thought fish and chips for a short middle week meal would be nice after a hectic day. Be here before that came back and ordered Grilled Perch. When it was brought out, it was wrapped in the film, it was cooked, swimming... in water (frozen) tasteless very small and NOT perch. I asked the cook if he had grilled the fish and he said yes in the foil. After asking him to tell him that the fish was shocking, he apologized and went back to the kitchen. Pretty sure the fish used was BASS and could have saved my self $8 and went to Woolies and cooked it my self on a real grill for $2. Totally demolished, Not what I ordered and derive a cheaper farmed freshwater fish for perch charge $10 for it. Will not be back"

"A nice clean take away, let down by food over cooked to the point the batter was brittle and very brownI order battered black pudding and thought it would be like the sausage shape you get in Scotland, out came a battered round slice the weighed nothing covered in batter. That had fried to a crisp , tasted of nothing really The haddock was really small for $10, we also ordered the $17 haddock and that was tastless as wellWe were expecting home made chips, but they were the standard frozen chiips.Curry sauce was disappointing So all in all nothing like the great British experiences we were looking forStaff were friendly and efficient, Doubt if I would go back"
