"We were traveling from the Czech Republic back to Austria and stopped in Passau for a late lunch. Although it was almost closing time, we were seated and promptly served. The pasta dishes were perfectly prepared and the pizzas were made with fresh ingredients. We wanted coffee and dessert and ordered the tiramisu. More than a week later, we are still talking about this superb rendition of the classic dessert. If we are traveling this way again, we would certainly stop and try some more dishes, and order the tiramisu again!"

"After my last reports, however, my star camp was overcrowded and I decided today to take some more money in the hand and drive an address where you probably get rid of a few stars. In a local Frazenbuch group I have heard a lot of good about the StÃ1⁄4ller and so I did this after a short research on the homepage. The farmer has a long tradition (since 1873, he has long been in family possession. The house (and the furnishings are however much more recent date, the last was completely renovated last year... exceptionally not due to the slight moisture problem in 2013 the places on Danube or Inn (so it is too far up). In the inn there are some steps, in the inn there is an extra disabled toilet, which also serves as a changing room. A ramp (also at the back entrance I did not see now. SERVICE: The service is fast and friendly. They all wore a red, white dirndlbluse from the more modern variety. I got my card right away, I was still told about the cheaper subscription food, but I was interested in another dish from the map. Was not a problem, I got time to bring my court in peace, was also questioned at my court for the desired degree of Gar. It's all round. Why it only remains at 4 stars is too weak attention. When I had empty plates and glass, I had to draw attention to myself that I wanted to pay and go. Especially in the lunch shop there are many connection dates and do not want to sit for so long after dinner. ESSEN: The menu feels like a book in the hand. Added with a felt cover with restaurant name and logo it has a very high quality haptic. Also within there are no brochure cases, but inserted sheets of thick paper. The number of dishes is so great that there is something for everyone, but not as crowded as in the places where everyone wants to do everything right and then are 60 dishes on the map. There are meat and fish dishes, a few children's dishes and a sandwich menu. I ordered the Passau onion with parsley potatoes, sherry sauce and salad to 15.90, which is quite favorable (in our neighboring village there are similar for 12.80, but between the food there were really worlds, which should not mean that this was bad in the neighboring village. After a reasonable time came my salad, which was now visually and from the selection nothing special (sheet, cucumbers, tomatoes, potato salad . Also the dressing (ethyl oil was clearly made and good. Salt and pepper mills are on the table to season. (To the table ash fans: see, it is also so!!! Then my main court came. A huge piece of meat (blue card at least 250gr. Crude weight potatoes and sauce. The meat was of very good quality, roasted to the point (in the middle still beautiful rustic, no apartments. In some restaurants, poor meat quality is compensated by adding a sharp steak knife; here such a thing was not necessary, my table knife plucked butter delicately through the meat. The onions had nice bites, like the potatoes. The sauce was also clearly made with a fond base, if at all, were only minimal aids in it. It was also delicious on the plate. Regarding the parsley border on the record: A TV cook (I don't know what was said once: The edge of the plate belongs to the service! . Here left half of the edge of the plate free. The part was also very plentiful and despite omitted breakfast I barely managed it. I haven't eaten so well for a long time (ok, was also responsible for me when I went to a cheap Chinese lunch and for the money it was really good. There are actually 5 stars again! AMBIENTE: The restaurant was recently completely renovated and rebuilt, which is still visible everywhere (also around the house there is still a building structure, so I did not make a picture from the outside that is delivered. Circular benches, partly chair chairs (sometimes with restaurant logo). A part of the tables is on a kind of stage (probably published for events). On the tables stand (real! flowers and a small central table cloth (was made of thick paper that can be quickly exchanged). There is a beautiful terrace. The guest room is divided into several rooms, there is plenty of space. The toilets also look like a designer there, but what was not the case, everything new and chic, but everywhere a touch (Bavarian style). Here you can really feel comfortable, so also 5 stars. SAUBERKEIT: It was all normal clean, who in search of dust will also find dust (but you must look exactly and with a 5-star candidate I see very carefully here. There are only the hidden reservoirs (e.g. at the top of the doors in the toilets. For 5 stars I also expect a certain extra because the normal cleanliness is actually self-evident. But there are (good 4 stars I don't let go into the overall ranking right now. PLV: I paid 15,90 for a really very good food, which is top class for the offered performance, especially for the class where the restaurant plays (as stated: good bourgeois cuisine . The other dishes also seem to be worth their money. For example, you can also have the carving dishes from the turkey for a surcharge of 2 euros. This is a sign that sensible meat is taken (for in the supermarket also plaster is blurred. Usually I don't spend so much money for lunch, but here it was worth every cent and in the evening I would have paid 18 euros for the same meal (or more). Therefore also at the PLV 5 stars FAZIT: A hot 5 star candidate (as I said: I appreciate relative and consider in which league a restaurant plays and what it wants to be. Actually, it would have been computational because of the not very attentive service 4.5 stars, but one realized that something was in the room and she was kind to me, so I decorate the 5 stars for a long time! There's definitely a goodbye, maybe a child-free evening with my wife."

"Went there a couple of times now (whenever I am in Passau that is). Have always been more than satisfied. Definetly the best italian restaurant in the Passau area. It's real high class italian cuisine for little money in a very relaxed atmosphere. Mind you,...there is no Pizza or such. They focus is on things you do not get in every other italian restaurant (though there is a couple of Pasta variations that every boy and girl will like so don't worry just go)."
