"Amazing, everything was cooked to perfection using the freshest ingrediants. Bright flavours, good portions, fast and friendly service. This is the first time I've ever felt the need to review a restuarant, it was that good!"

"Wait staffs were very nice and polite, the place was clean and well maintained, but a bit understaffed only 2 of them (then 3) for about 10 tables (maybe 25 30 customers)... My wife and I had a med size sashimi/sushi boat for about $90 including tips, the value was ok because the freshness was good, variety was quite decent, but some of them were cut quite thin, thinner than should be.... I did not know that 4 side dishes and 2 miso soup were included in the combo, couple of the sides were quite good. The overall food quality was quite decent not very good yet, and overall value was just about average because many places offer the same and Marado relatively does not stand out at all unfortunately"

"Don't order anything except the j chicken. The pork has probably been sitting in a fridge for weeks. They gave me so much of it, probably to get rid of it. Coleslaw is extremely dry, probably also a batch made weeks before.You only get three stars for the j chicken. it's not bad. Take the pork off the menu if you can't serve it fresh. Simple as that."

"My buddies and I came here for breakfast on Saturday morning around 8am and the restaurant was half full. We also noticed that 3 or 4 tables in the back corner had reserved signs on them. Shortly after we sat down the people with the reservations started sauntering in. I ordered the 2 eggs, bacon with home fries and rye toast. It came with bottomless coffee. Most of the breakfast restaurants are hit and miss around Richmond Hill but Allencourt has always been good. Will definitely be back more often."

"Pretty much the worst service I 've ever encountered...which is a shame because I would have come to this location more often if it wasn 't for the bad experience I had. Mind you, I 've been in the industry as a server for over 15 years and I have worked at Sunset Grill in the past for over 5 years. My expectation may be slightly higher, but this was just another level of awful and was based more on the choices the server made and not skill. I drove 15 minutes out of my way because I was craving a Sunset Vegan Hash. Could have (should have) gone to Sunnyside or 3 Coins, but chose to drive north to try out this Sunset Grill. I come in, the male at the front waves me to a seat. About 2 minutes after sitting down, 4 construction workers came in. I assume they work on the plaza and come in often, because as soon as the server saw them he got four coffees and waters promptly poured and served. At this point I haven 't been greeted. Okay, that 's fine..he knows them. He 's coming right over. Wrong! He 's going to take their order first...because they 're regulars and know what they want. Ok cool. He 's going to come right over to me and you know.....see if I would like anything? He does. I think okay, he 's going to do the smart thing and punch in my ONE order before the FOUR big breakfast orders from customers who CAME AFTER ME. Why would I have such high hopes for something so simple? Nope. I watch four grown men scarf down their breakfast while waiting for my potatoes and guacamole. At this point, I 've been here for almost 10 minutes and still haven 't received my coffee. Oh, because he used it all for the men who came after me..so he had to wait for a new pot. I eat my food, enjoy one coffee even though I would have loved a refill...NO QUALITY CHECK...no nothing. I finish, and go to the front (because ya know, I used to work here so I know this...who knows how long I would have waited for him to provide my receipt because that would require actually giving service) I still didn 't gave the heart to give a 'bad ' tip so I gave him 18%. He didn 't say ANYTHING...not a word. Oh, because there was a male uber driver right behind me picking up food so he waved me away. Didn 't thank me, say come again, have a nice day.....literally not a word. Just such a shame to see the service industry become so terrible. No wonder we are being replaced by robots and computers. Food was good though, and the east Asian cook/chef was actually very friendly. I thanked him for the food and he was the one to tell me you 're welcome and to have a good day. Maybe they should try switching roles!"

"Overall, one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. Service is prompt and generally friendly. On this visit we had tofu and grouper in a hotpot. A little more fish and a little less dried tofu would have made the dish perfect. Also a stir fried beef with vegetables ( Gai Lan) the beef was evenly cooked and quite tender, without the rubbery texture that sometimes happens at other places."

"Ming Cuisine is a higher end Chinese that opened up recently in Richmond Hill.<br/ <br/ The restaurant though smallish but nicely decorated. Love the blue and white theme instead of all those glittering gold. <br/ <br/ Lunch Special $8.99 includes soup, spring roll and a noodle/rice dish. There are snacks and sides for around $5 which is great to share.<br/ <br/ Since I arrived for a late lunch, their usual double boiled soup 炖湯 was gone but replaced by fish maw soup which was good and supposed to be healthy too.<br/ <br/ For main I ordered Rice in Lotus Leaf 秘製荷葉飯. It does take awhile to arrive as they all made to order. The portion is huge! Great to share.<br/ <br/ Definitely worth coming for lunch. The special order menu can be quite interesting. Just make sure you call for reservations!"

"Really good fresh sushi and sashimi! Service was a little questionable. First we had to wait to see a menu...the table next to us were still looking at it. REALLY?? It 's not like the physical menu was presented so beautifully. It was a bit ragged and extremely tired. Fortunately, the food was very tasty. They do tend to rush you though. Quick to bring you most of the food (cooked food took much longer) and quick to give you the bill. It was 'fast food ' type service but with tasty food."

"I ordered a medium pizza for take-out, the 'Oregano Mix ' with pepperoni, mushrooms and green peppers. I 've had pizza from here in the past and I remembered it to be better. They call it a wood burning oven pizza but I couldn 't tell by the look or the taste of it. It was overpriced (just over $20 plus tax). And the crust was not nearly thin enough for a wood burning oven pizza. The pepperoni was good, but overall the toppings were scarce. Will not be getting pizza from here again."
