"(January 2017) went with a group and we sat on the enclosed patio, which is really nice- gives you the feeling like you are outside without being exposed to the elements, and there are blankets if you're really cold. I had the dragon bowl this time and it was good tasting but something i could likely make at home. Almost $20 with tax and tip. I had water. Pretty steep for lunch but all the meals are inching up these days. (4.0)<br/ <br/ (December 2016) This is a very busy location, and has a nice patio in summer that is enclosed for winter. Great for groups, small groups, and pairs. My friend like the social aspect and the happy hour specials. I have tried to find value in the meals but it is an upscale restaurant (expensive) with portions sized for one meal only. Last time I had the halibut tacos and had the cabbage put on the side (see photo). My friend raves about the #28 dragon bowl so I will try that next time. Tightly clustered tables and friendly staff. A good place to go if you have time to spend there-and be social. (3.5)"

"This restaurant was recommended by a friend who lives in Victoria. A little tricky to find, but worth the effort. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was fast and friendly.Recommend getting a reservation if you want to eat in."

"I ate here back in the Fall of 2012. The food is authentic and the fish very fresh. But the cost is very high. In fact, I think the costs are out of line for the food. The same dish 水煮鱼 for the same portion and quality only costs $20 down the street. In Toronto, it costs $18.95. In Beijing, it is even cheaper. Here, it was way above that + tax and tip. They also have a selection of teas, but they charge. That may be standard practice in China, but this is Canada, and usually the tea is free in the restaurants. Also 口水鸡 has a ridiculous price here. Overall, it's great food as long as you do not mind paying a lot of money. Portions are decent and the atmosphere is more sophisticated than the usual Chinese sichuan restaurant. Also, parking can be difficult due to the music school next door. I recommend this place only if you really want to impress a Chinese guest."

"I wasn't able to eat any fish for years due to prescriptions. My new doctor told me to try fish... Naturally the last place I had fish all those years ago was here, so I figured it was a good place to start. Yup, just as good as it was before. I'll bereturning again soon."
