"This was a great find. We had been cycling and found two restaurants next to each other. This one didn't have a queue so we decided to try this one. Lucky us it was brilliant. The prawns were fresh and delicious. Simple with fresh bread....Would love to go back. Right on the sea front. Highly recommend it."

"Restaurant well placed on the appealing card but... welcome simply deplorable from the manager. This has indeed shown an unacceptable aggressiveness to our children. We immediately left the place. It takes little to ensure that the elegant varnish that it seeks to look at does not reveal its bad manners and a language worthy of "towns". To enlighten my words, here are the facts: We arrive early, around 7:30. Few people, A beautiful motorcycle (so owned by the restaurant manager) sits on the docks, well in the sight of all. My 2-year-old and 2-month-old son is approaching her to touch her and touch her, me by her side to watch her, I let you guess the rest. One imagines as a 2-year-old can "esquinter" a motorcycle... The island of Ré is a beautiful place for families, but if this restaurant attracts you and your children are with you, you will be on your way."

"Beautiful authentic Resto dragged the back of the main road. We hadn't booked, so we sat on a long table at the back. The staff were attentively very efficient and friendly. The food was excellent, we just wanted some light and had a huge plaque from charcuterie we brought back some as it couldn't eat anything. Very popular always a good sign and would probably be best to book."

"Lovely setting. Best to make reservations during peak holidays. Food was tasty but service a bit mixed. Long waits for service and different waiters attending us didn’t help. Only one bathroom too for the entire restaurant. Would revisit though for the location and decent food."
