"We ordered the spicy Bohnburger and the veggie Nuggets, both with chips and vegan Mayo. Both were nice, but the burger was our definitive favorite, so nice to go to Chippy and have something different than chips alone! The chips themselves were really good and I don't know if they do themselves or not, but the vegan Mayo was great. There are a few picnic tables outside, looking at the adjacent sports fields, or you can do as we did and drive the short distance to the beach and enjoy your chips by the sea!"

"We went on a Thursday night when they could get 2 pizzas for ten pounds. that's really much and they were the most beautiful vegan pizzas I've ever had. the staff was very friendly and helpful. there were three of us, so we ordered three pizzas, but they have pointed out that there was only 50p more to get 4 pizzas with the deal, so one for us made to take along!"

"Couldn 't fault our early dinner for 5 at the Manor House 's restaurant. From our vegan 'sharing board ' and heritage beetroot starters, through a hake special, cauliflower bhuna, fish and chips and potato mains, to the two excellent (and reasonably priced) bottles of Pinot Grigio, everything was beautifully cooked and presented. The meal was accompanied by an excellent and reasonably priced Pinot Grigio. The experience was welcoming for wheelchair users, service was warm friendly and professional and this was a lovely way to end our autumn holiday in the South Lake District/Morecambe Bay. Thanks for a great evening. Vegetarian options: Full of flavour and originality; cauliflower bhuna and potato risotto Parking: We found a flat wide bay near the entrance. Wheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible."

"Incredible! the first time here is not sure what to expect. as soon as they enter the inner they are obliged. quirky, maybe old-fashioned but, everything falls in place with a varied menu on table-creideboards. we had just dipped for tee and maybe a cake. everyone is the favorite from behind in the day and more. on the hearty menu are some of my favorite, among them smoked fish chowder and homemade tomato soup served with fresh brot from the local grange bakery. tee brewed in a pot and china tassen. I ordered a gentleman freshly brewed coffee, as it was the best he ever had. this is also a shop with all kinds of objects old and new to see and try. jane and lonely make a fabulous job and serves delicious food for fabulous visitors. it is a must try!"

"Just got back from a week staying in Satterthwaite and went to the pub most nights for a drink. Our dog Pero embarrassed himself but Bob the pub dog had a lot of fun with him. It was lovely to have a pub 2 minutes walk away and especially one that felt cozy. One note... They could make a fortune if they got some more quality scotch behind the bar, a lagavulin 16, Oban 14 or a Bowmore 15... Service: 5"
