"I really wish I didn't have to give just 2 stars but... I've eaten here several times over the years and it was pretty good. I know the new owner is trying but this place has a way to go. the menu is very small and not a lot of choices. So, I tried the chicken wings and I'm sorry to say they were not very good. they were rubbery which I think they were using frozen). The Caesar salad was good but needs croutons. my friends had the fish and chips and said they were good. The service was really good though. I think if they could improve on the menu, it might make it. A few more choices with maybe a chicken, or fish and another meat would improve it. I really hoping that they make it because the restaurant is really nice and so is the bar. The view is great too. Maybe a couple more innovative meals to make them stand out would be helpful too as there's really no nice restaurants except this one in waldport."

"Place is an armpit! Furnace burned frozen pommes, had a better shrimp dinner from a TV dinner. The waitress wasn't very polite either. When I saw that a kitchen worker went out of the public toilets next door and his hands were to wash a red flag"

"One of our favorite GO TO places. It's like hanging out at a friend's house with plenty of food. Dennis, Denise and Nichole are real people that don't have to FAKE a smile or toll the line for customer service. Unlike the two restaurants they sit between, Lazy Dayz knows what most of their customer's names are and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed in their little cafe. Great BBQ!! Best homemade potatoes chips, too!!"

"During our trip to the Central Coast, one thing we wanted to do was go Crabbing. After to talking to a couple places that rent out boats and gear, we decided it was too early in the season for us to catch our own.Alsea Bay was the only place that had fresh crab to buy. We stopped the gentelman who I believe is the owner before he had even opened. He was more than willing to set us up with 8.5 lbs of fresh crab at $13/lb. He even put the crab on ice in a box for us after boiling it, and threw in the house brown butter.I imagine their sandwiches and other plates are delicious, and prices looked very reasonable. Would definitely recommend."
