"Pampano Is always excellent. Delicious and creative Mexican seafood in midtown Manhattan, One of my favorite dishes is the shrimp quesadilla--served open face with light salad, amazing sauce and perfectly cooked. It is the perfect choice for lunch. Homemade guacamole and chips, prepared however you desire is fantastic. I enjoy taking business partners here since they are always pleased with their meals. Consistency makes the difference. On nice days, consider sitting outside on the deck--you won't be sorry."

"The overall atmosphere and service were outstanding. We could not ask for any better. However, the food was mediocre at best. Several of our dishes were served mild to warm, when they should have been hot. One dish had to be sent back. Overall though we enjoyed our visit."

"We have been here numerous times and have never been disappointed. This past Saturday night four of us were seated on the more quiet side and we could talk easily. The food was outstanding—especially the salads, vegetables, ribs and lamb chops. The variety and intense flavors of small plates is faultless. The main entree of salmon was delicious too. It continues to be among our top favorites in the Boston area. Nice they now have liquor too"

"Usually only have good experiences with NYAJ, but unfortunately this was not one of them. We sat immediately and waited for about 10 minutes on a server. Take our beverage orders and food order immediately and finally brought us bread. Unfortunately no one had brought records or cutlery and he did not notice. There was a good time to get his attention back and get everything. The food was good, but it remained under the heat lamps ready to be served too long, pasta good a little crusty and my daughters dried meatballs. We are low maintenance guests, rarely ask for something extra, but the cheese my son had asked from the time he did not order and we had to wait almost 10 minutes to get his attention and the cheese (he put the food quickly and left before we could ask for it). I've been fine until then with everything, maybe more tables than he should have, but when I had to wait 10 minutes to get his attention so we could get the check, I was a little upset. When the check arrived, it had a fee of $5.50 for a drink that should be included in my daughter's meal. Try to get his attention. He noted that and fortunately they have the opportunity to pay with your phone so that we finally get out. We left without asking for the ice cream that is included with the children meals because everyone was tired at this point, not even complaining to the children. In the end, this is either at the location or at the server (or a combination). If he had many tables, the administration should not all of them. If he's just so vivid, he should find another working line."
