"Lovely cosy atmosphere with mix of families, couples cyclists/take out. Great choice of savoury food and amazing cakes. Well priced with friendly service. Is an upstairs seating area too. Now we've found it we will be using on a regular basis! You can also pick up some local crafts too!"

"Walked into costa bishop Auckland at 3:15 and lady sweeping floors half the stores chairs on top of the tables as if they were closing, and they don’t get put back down again, I passed much later, this seems to be the norm with this cafe now, chairs being noisily dragged passed you with no concern for the customer, considering they close at 7pm, this behaviour is totally unnecessary, you feel unwelcome, the staff can be rude to customers which I’ve seen, is there any management around, it never used to be run this way, what a shame, good point is Starbucks is just across the road, costa need to waken up and stop treating customers in this disrespectful manner, didgusting!!!"

"The problem with this branch of McDonalds, and every other branch I’ve been to lately is the amount of Just Eat and Uber Eats drivers hanging around. With the drive-thru, in store orders and online orders there’s just too much work and not enough staff to do it. The days of ‘fast food’ are long gone because your own ‘in store’ order gets lost amongst the myriad of online orders that the foreign drivers are hanging around waiting for. I ordered 3 standard regular meals and had a ridiculous 25 minute wait. This was never the case before Just Eat and Uber Eats got into the mix. The whole ‘fast food’ experience has been lost due to these idiots. I for one won’t be back at any McDonalds until the online orders are stopped or they take on more staff to cope with the increased work, because at the minute the current way of working just simply isn’t ‘working’."

"I have just visited Costa with a friend. We ordered two black forest hot chocolates, no cream left, really you make hot drinks for a living. My friend asked if she could have marshmallows instead of the cream, no was the answer. Disappointed in the visit ."
