"We wandered into Beatricita at about 5:45 on a Wednesday night. The restaurant closes at 6PM so they were out of their daily specials which we had heard are very good. Still we ordered a taco plate and chicken tinga plate. Both plates tasted fresh...and good. We watched the waitress make our tortillas on a funky type press I've never seen before. The best part was our waitress. She greeted us and was very friendly. All the waitresses wore uniforms and took turns checking on us. The price was $185 pesos, slightly more then most places we had dinner this trip but we enjoyed our experience at Beatricita's."

"Located on a corner, this is a, unassuming but bus and bustling small place that cannot go unnoticed due to a large and bright Mexican Cantina neon sign. Friendly waitstaff will accommodate you on the high chairs at this corner Bar Grill. Their Tequila...Bandera con Don Julio 70 (3 shot glasses filled separately with tequila, virgin mary and lemon juice) is surprisingly delicious, and you 'll get chips black bean salsa while you wait. You must order their Tacos de Arrachera, which are grilled meat tacos, thinly sliced and mixed over a bed of refried beans, shredded radishes with onions and cilantro, to be slathered with heavenly guacamole. You get 3 tacos, generously filled to perfection. They also make fish soup, which the next table couple had. All we heard was a succession of Yummm, Oooohhh, So gooood."
