"I had a lovely lunch before touring the Mint Museum. The restaurant provides a great view of the tall buildings downtown in a very trendy setting. When the chef's bread selection of the day arrived it was popcorn with Turkish spices. Interesting. The waiter was very knowledgable efficient. The lunch options were varied and offered interesting options but were obviously not priced for the ordinary, daily lunch. <br/>I loved the option on the dessert menu of a truffle which was served with 2 raspberries a mint leaf. What a great idea for just a taste of something sweet."

"Oh my. This place was phenomenal. We started off with the forcaccia loaf, beef tartare, and mussels. The bread had a THIN crisp to it with a perfect soft interior. The beef tartare is my personal favorite. It's seasoned, cut, and presented in the most perfect way. The texture was not overly chewy or bland, nor was the fresh beef over flavored, basically incredibly well balanced. Mussels were plump, really well cleaned, and refreshing to the table. Next, the doppio ravioli was light and unique. It really tasted like a sunny fall day. The gnocchi was interesting. Good, but it's a bit underwhelming comparatively. The duck was a bit too chewy for my liking, and the star of the dish was the brussel sprouts. The pepperoni sausage pizza has a perfect crust, and we loved the fennal sausage on it. Tartufi pizza, my second favorite. It had a gently sweet undernote to it and great umami flavor. Lastly, for desserts, we had the carmal apple bread pudding and ginger cake. The bread pudding had good texture, but the sweetness level would definitely suit a sweet tooth instead. The ginger cake, on the other hand, was perfectly semi sweet. The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and service was pleasant. I would come back for the beef tartare on it's own!"

"Had never been here before, and went into it completely blind based entirely off of atmosphere.The food.was.incredible.You're going to want to order at least three things for two people because serving sizes are small, and if you had asked me beforehand I would have said that is a downside. Instead, it gave me an opportunity to taste different foods that were absolutely cooked (perfectly) with care and knowledge.I personally don't drink, but apparently the wine selection was great as well. I asked if they had a iced coffee, and the server enthusiastically volunteered to make me one.I was so happy with the service and the food, and they treated me and my service dog like family.We made sure the chef knew how much we appreciated the experience."

"I have been a customer since the first week they opened and I love this place! The products they sell are excellent and I find it very convenient to stop in and buy a home made dinner all ready to go! I am also a huge fan of their lunch items I love the soups, salads and focaccia. The pre prepared meals on the menu include pasta and meat dishes, fish, chicken pot pie and quiches. Everything tastes like it's homemade, and I love their selection of olive oils and wines. They even sell cute little dishes and cookbooks. The owners and staff are always very pleasant and professional. Highly recommend."

"This place is simply the best. There isn’t a thing we’ve tried that we didn’t like. The chicken and the meat lasagna are staples in our house. The par-baked baguettes are to die for, and paired with any one of the spreads they sell, it’s phenomenal. But my favorite thing about pasta and provisions, this location in particular, is the level of service you receive. Often times I come in with my daughter who is a toddler. They always help me to carry my items to the register, interact with her, hold the door for me, etc. It’s just so refreshing to go to a place where they take such good care of each and every clients needs!"

"My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful dinner tonight at Flour Shop. I had heard nothing but raving reviews on it so for my boyfriend’s birthday I decided to take him there. The reviews were absolutely correct. We had the gnocchi and meatball entree, crispy duck entree, corn sofrito, herb potatoes and the Carolina gold rice. We honestly couldn’t pick which one we enjoyed most. It was all delicious. They bring you bread and olive oil to start. It’s not your usual franchise bread and oil. I have never tasted a bread so light and airy before. They had a nice spice in the olive oil on the plate. We knew after eating the bread alone we were in for an amazing dinner. It was so refreshing going to a restaurant that makes all of their own pasta and bread in house, as well as, growing their own fresh herbs. For anyone looking for a wonderful dinner out you must go to Flour Shop. You will be so glad you did. We will be going back again soon."
