"We were seated on the upper floor with a perfect view near the large open windows looking out onto the beach. Service was ok, nothing special. Desserts weren't anything amazing either, but they were still tasty. You could find just as good as Publix. I found the portion size to be satisfying. I liked their vegetables and twice baked potato as sides. They burnt half my seared shrimp. l Apparently their chicken and pasta isn't their specialty, so consider skipping it. I did taste their scallops and crab stuffed shrimp, and found both quite good. My brother was very pleased with the piece of tuna he ordered."

"From Illinois and after reading the reviews, some crab cakes, crab filled chicken and lasagna stayed for dinner. The crab cakes do not disappoint, and the crab filled chicken was also great. I can't wait to try the lasagna today. A certain one has to stop in Destin."

"It has a very nice and welcoming interior. The waiter was very helpful. I ate the shrimps and grits and it was very rich, creamy, and the shrimp was perfect. The atmosphere is very nice and quiet. The price is something up there, but I day it's worth it if you want to spend a bit on good seafood. Recommend this place to experience at least once."

"Fast, friendly, speedy service. Came during Happy Hour and took advantage of drink and appetizer specials. The pork nachos were easily the best pick among the three we sampled (nachos, fried mozzarella sticks, and fried calamari). I put pork in quotesbecause I could have sworn we were eating beef instead. Didn 't taste like pork at all. Regardless, they were tasty and theportion was hearty. My wife took advantage of the $6 margaritas. She thought they were strong and after 2, had a little buzzgoing. I had a couple of the $3 drafts. Would we go back? Yeah, for those pork nachos if nothing else. If outside of HappyHour though, I 'd be hard-pressed to pay the going rates for the entrées."

"I have seen this place advertised every time I've visited this area. Even though it was a good 30 min drive from where we were staying, the 1/2 deal until 8pm was still enticing. We arrived and the place was not busy at all. Probably a few tables were filled. Granted it was a Tuesday night and it was off season but I was hoping for a little more business so I wouldn't be afraid to try the food. Most entrées were 1/2 off and they had a large selection to choose from. From Seafood to steaks. All entrées were full sized and included a salad and a side. I ordered a Seafood platter than came with scallops, fried fish, fried shrimp and a crab cake. My wife ordered the popcorn shrimp. My platter came with 1 fried fish, 1 crab cake, 4 small scallops and 5-6 medium fried shrimp. The normal cost of the platter was $27. Considering the portion I received, I would have been really mad if I had paid full price for what I got. The 1/2 price is probably a little closer to what I would expect to pay, probably a few dollars cheaper. I can see the plate costing $18-$20 full price but not $27. The shrimp and scallops were tasty and not over fried. The fish was decent but I forgot to ask what type of fish they used and it almost tasted like catfish. The crab cake tasted like it wasn't homemade. Tasted a lot of seasoning and filler and couldn't tell where the crab meat was. Next time I think I will stick with a single species dish. My wife and my kids all enjoyed the popcorn shrimp and my little girl wanted to come back everyday. The baked potato was cooked perfectly and the side salad was average. The service was fantastic. The waiter was not loud and was very calm and accommodating. I would definitely come back and try other entrées at 1/2 off."

"The food was amazing. I had the grouper crab and it was awesome. We shared the escargot and that was also good. The others had steak. Wine selection was great. Our server was very busy so a little delay but not bad. It was fairly loud in the restaurant but not too bad. It is very expensive though so you get what you pay for. In my opinion, the potato or vegetable should come with the steak or seafood. Potatoes, rice, etc is all soo cheap but they charge so much extra for them."
