"I wish I could give Rib Tickler 10 stars... All time favorite BBQ joint ever. Do not go anywhere else literally unless it is cooked at home or by the family! My fiancée and I have been there since we were kids. Some of the same employees still have as long as I can remember, and they always welcome us with a huge smile and a warm welcome. We're gonna get our kids there and they love it too. The loaded baked potato, Brisket, Taco Salat, the Cheeseburger and everything up to the sweet potato fries are so delicious. I promise whatever you choose, you will not be disappointed. My family will never stop coming as long as the food tastes the same and the hospitality remains the same"

"Great after dinner location! Nice assortment of wines and both nights had live music. We happened to be there for their 11th anniversary and got hear the owner sing a song. If you are in the area, stop by and ask the owner to take the microphone and sing, she has a beautiful voice!"

"Website wouldn’t take my order so figured I’d call in, but they don’t do phone orders??? Drive down there to find a long line, exactly what I was trying to avoid. Whoever made this genius decision earned this review and no more business from us. It may work fine for some, but not me. Are you calling me a liar? As for not doing phone orders, particularly when customer states online won’t work, is just plain stupid business."

"Ms. Patsy was so kind and welcoming. We visited the establishment on NYE 45 minutes before closing time and she treated us as if we were the first customers of the day. She showed us where we could sit while we looked at the menu which was so kind. It was me and my son’s first time going to CC’s Cafe and we knew what we wanted but wasn’t sure it was on the menu. Ms. Patsy knew within seconds what we should select. She is a gem to the cafe and deserves to be recognized. Thank you Ms. Patsy!!!"

"The menu isn't terribly extravagant, it's mostly American staples like steak, burgers, sandwiches, salad, pasta, and some seafood. The execution is consistently strong and that's what I think makes this restaurant popular. In addition, the servers are very good. Ours the other day was a six year veteran of the restaurant and it showed. He was very accommodating, knew the menu well, could answer any questions and make suggestions about the items, and knew when to talk and when to allow us time. Drinks were regularly tended to and he brought a little humor to the discussion too. I've been to higher end steakhouses where the servers were not at least as big a foodie as I am and it showed. In our visit our party tried out some salads, the fish and chips, and the chicken fried steak. The salad selection is actually very good here and the flavors are great. The chicken fried steak is not Houston's biggest, but the preparation is excellent, with a slightly spicy and nicely fried batter. The sides are all also well made."

"I'd give them 10. For the first time. Three adults, we all have different potatoes and of course we all shared and they were as amazing. They gave us every cookie to be new guests and no lie the best cookie I've ever had, we brought a dozen home. Sounds good to be true, but even the sweet tea was to die. Friendly staff, great experience."

"Great place to go when children have or enjoy eating outside. You can be quite noisy on a Saturday, so not the best place if you are looking for a quiet lunchtime. The food is really good, the Mac and cheese was a little bland, but burgers and twice baked potato were on point. I'm really looking forward to seeing some local beers on ice when you go in I definitely go back."

"There was no line when we arrived (Wednesday at 6) and we did not wait for our food to be prepared (my wife and I both had the Burrito Wrap with Brisket). While we both wait in the free boiled peanuts. Be careful, they're creepy, but so good! Then our packs came. Yowza talk about a big part! None of us could finish us, but that's okay. Temperature and taste were great. We talked about a return flight to breakfast the next time."
