"I had an appointment in this area and I arrived too early, so I decided to stop at the Deli South. A restaurant deserving some exposure in its own right. It's located off of Catoctin SE acid from the local Post Office. You wouldn't think this restaurant exists here because the property is underdeveloped. It doesn't draw attention to the others businesses because in the morning, ask you see are parked trucks, so at first glance you're going to think this is an industrialparking lot. But at the entrance to this property you have the Deli South a really good eatery with food well-made and with friendly staff. I stopped in to get breakfast, but saw they had pastrami sandwich on the menu, so I ordered it. Agood pastrami sandwich is hard to come by in this area, so I had to see if it was worth it. And it was! Well prepared and heated to the right temperature. I decided to eat in because it wasn't crowded and the setting inside was not too bad.It definitely feels spacious and well-maintained, so I wanted to get the full experience. I will tell you, this eatery when discovered week being in repeat customers or if you happen to do business on this property, stop in and grab a bite.It's worth it."

"We went and saw a really great band called REL. This is a little hole in the wall Marina and bar with limited parking space. It's called Gator Bay where you literally are just feet from the water! The food was delicious but getting it took an extremely long time. 84 degrees in February? Yes please!!!Food: 5/5"

"We were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat while we were in the area to do some Christmas grocery shopping, and Firebirds fit the bill well. The interior feels very similar to a Clyde's or other upscale American cuisine restaurants in the DMV. They seemed a little hesitant to seat us at first since we didn't have a reservation- but frankly the place was barely half full when we left, so I could have done without that attitude. But our server was excellent once we got seated. The menu is also similar to a typical American restaurant. I went with the Durango burger, which was cooked medium rare just like I had asked for, and had a great mix of flavors with the chile and ranch. The fries on the side were decent. Overall a good option in the area for a semi-casual lunch or dinner."

"That was our favorite restaurant to stop when we were in noisy for wine/beer tasting. Great food, great service, great people. It breaks my heart that they had to close their doors this weekend. The French hound is very missing."

"Nothing that would make me come back again. My biggest complaint is that tables in the smaller room are too close to one another like 10 inches apart and there is no way to have a conversation. You can literally here what everyone is saying on the tables next to you. They don't have that setup because they don't have enough space, but because I think they are too lazy to cover spread out tables. Food is good but nothing special. Expect to spend $40 $50 a person for food only, with dessert and drinks it is 25% more."
