"The restaurant lacked atmosphere. We were sat down at a table next to a glass door with a private party going on in the adjoining room. We moved table which was next to the air conditioning unit which was blowing out cold air. The food was very nice but the other things spoiled our experience. We won't be going back soon ."

"We went on the off chance on a Friday afternoon to have afternoon tea. There was a small queue which was managed efficiently and we were seated within about 5 mins. The tea rooms were very busy but we were served attentively with a lovely quality afternoon tea. The room is very tastefully decorated and kept clean and tidy as part of their busy routines. We observed an efficient tidy up behind a young family without any fuss. The ladies rest room is very clean and tidy. I think this is a barometer of the quality of the venue. I would definitely recommend this for a treat and don't be put off if there is a small queue."
